£62 at cex uk.webuy.com/pro…8GB but I wouldn't reccomment any of these if you want to watch videos off the stick as they drain your ipad battery. if just for transfering then a smaller one will do

that is for a 128gb second hand one hardly a fair comparison

Still a bit pricey in my opinion sub £100 would be a good price

true but less than half the price and still with a 2 year warranty. I also just cannot see the point of these devices, with apple limiting you to the apps that can use the data you are generally much better off spenidng more on an ipad with more storage.

It`s just a relatively pleasurable experience transferring files between a pc/android/device and an ipad/iphone

but what files are you talking about? I suppose if you want only one memory stick then this works but is very overpriced. Otherwise there is no point having more storage than what's on your ipad. could easily get a 32gb drive like this for your ipad and a standard 256gb memory stick (if you need that much storage I can't see the reason myself) for far less.

Not an expert with Ipads or iphones, actually I hate them. The point of these memory sticks is that you can transfer the videos and the photos to the stick then connect that to a pc or anything else than has a USB connection and then transfer them to that. And vice versa.
How do you connect a "32 gig drive or a standard memory stick" to an ipad?

what I mean is for £20 you can get a 32gb version of this which will likely cover most people needs for transferring files from ipad to pc. Why pay £140 for a 256gb one when that is its only practical use? using to play videos off the device directly results in significant battery drain and the players are limited to the ones made for the memory sticks which are all quite limited.

Yes, of course you can use a smaller version (OF THIS) if you want to transfer less.
