Why Original?
They sell fakes as well?

Why is this cold? Is there a better price or chance that item is fake? Asking as I need one of these.

I bought one of these a few months ago, if died in 3 weeks, gearbest sent some email out stating they couldn't guarantee authenticity so I couldn't get my money back even though it says original

You should have some kind of protection with distance selling regulations or something. Someone more knowledgeable could chime in and offer advice perhaps?

There's a very high chance it will be fake because gearbest are renowned for selling fake items plus even if you did get a genuine Sandisk they are rubbish, I had a genuine one bought from Tesco die on me after 2 months.
I ended up getting a Samsung evo from Amazon and it has been faultless for over a year of heavy use.
Beware of Amazon marketplace sellers though if you want to avoid fakes and always test the new card with H2testw program to check it's real.

The distance selling regulations or now known as Consumer Contracts Regulations only apply to UK EU purchases if I remember correctly so try and pay by Paypal for low value items and a credit card for higher value items.

Gearbest are fine for some things but memory cards is absolutely not one of them. Deal is cold.

That's just your luck mate (talking about the genuine you bought from Tesco). I bought mine from Tesco and its been more than a year and works flawlessly.

I do concur with your very first statement though.
