Great deal

class 2 is a little bit too slow. i personally would go for the samsung class 6 one for 4 pound extra

Depends what you need it for - also be aware that the Sandisks class 2 are more often than not quicker than other brands class 4 or 6.

Can you provide proof of this? I'm interested to know if this is actually the case, if so I'll have one.

Can't provide proof but I've run a speed test on my two cards:

Samsung 8GB (Class 4) | Write Speed = 6.18 Mbyte/s | Read Speed = 13.6 Mbyte/s
SanDisk 8GB (Class 2) | Write Speed = 10.5 Mbyte/s | Read Speed = 16.1 Mbyte/s

The Samsung card is the white/grey one that is commonly seen on Play/Amazon and the SanDisk card is the same as shown here.

Class rating is just gives an indication of the minimum speeds it is capable of but SanDisk are well known to exceed these minimums and be on par with much higher class cards.

Thanks ashburnham. I'm going to go for it based on your info!

Just received mine and they've actually sent me a Class 4 rather than a Class 2. Happy days!
