Hi all, first post for me so hopefully its going to be useful for someone else too!

If you're after a cheap and cheerful MP3 player with amazing sound quality and aren't too bothered about a big touchscreen and fancy OS's then this Sandisk Sansa Clip+ might be for you!

Currently you can buy the 2GB version of the MP3 player for £27.10 and a 32GB microSDHC card for £13.04 for a combined price of just £40.14 which when compared to the 8GB version of the player (£46.95) means you're getting four times the capacity at over £6 less.

Also at the moment Amazon are offering a free AmazonBasics Portable Stereo worth £16.39 with any MP3 player which while not amazing quality will be handy at some point and either way is free! Along with that you will also get £2 to spend at the Amazon Music Store with any MP3 player purchase so you'll even have some music to put on there for free!

Best of all, all supplied, delivered and fulfilled by Amazon itself so should be a fairly safe purchase!

Links below for all 3, simply add them to basket and discount for stereo system is applied at checkout and the £2 music credit applied to your account after 3 days:

Player: amazon.co.uk/gp/…E6/
Memory Card: amazon.co.uk/gp/…HN0
Stereo: amazon.co.uk/gp/…L38

(Please remember to change the appropriate boxes to get the model and price above!

A quick google will let you know how good value this player is and how good it sounds! You can also apply a custom firmware (Rockbox) to improve the battery life and many of the sound settings, again a quick google will explain this.

The Clip is a great little player. Cheap to buy and cheap to expand the memory.

I use one in my car cos it's small, easy to use, the battery lasts ages and .... this was a big plus for me .... it supports volume normalisation (aka Replay Gain) through ID3 metadata.

(I paid £31 for the 8gb version of the player and just stuck a spare 16gb micro-SD card I had lying about in it ... can't argue with 24gb of normalised MP3's at that price!)

This seems a decent deal so heat from me.
Oh .... additional tip for anyone that decided to go for this ....

When you first fire up the Clip, select "Rest of the World" as your region. That way you avoid the stupid EU volume restrictions that kick in if you select a region within the EU ....
Does the little 2 gig have an expansion slot, because when you change it to it the name changes on amazon?
Best player out there, especially with rockbox. Heat.
Yep, 2GB is exactly the same as the 4GB and 8GB in that it comes with expanable storage! Hence why this works out so well
Thanks, jonn think Il snap this up, my archos one broke and need something for the gym, heat added.
got this wee player , cant reccomend it enough , though like many the clip didnt last to long
Thank you!!! I had just found the SanDisk myself but knew nothing about the speakers promotion alongside it.
do people rate this as better than the Clip Zip?
Superb little player !!!

Even better deal with the free Stereo speaker :

Thats the whole point of the deal the 2GB plus a cheap 32GB card is cheaper than getting the 8GB at the moment so makes sense to go for the 2GB over the 8GB.
