A couple of pounds cheaper than the usual price of £24.99.

I preferred the previous Sansa clip+ model, but this seems quite good for the price!

Worth the price? I have an old iPod lying about (an early gen nano), any reason to step up to something like this? (Other than the clip obviously )

I've been using one of these for the last year, at the same price! But I mostly just use it for the FM radio now. You also need to factor in a micro sd card if you have a substantial amount of music. Compact, but requires frequent charging. So neither hot nor cold to me - but cheap for what it is.

There's some corker MP3 players around this mark. AGPTEK do a micro version capable of taking an SD card for £23. (Amz)

Had one for a year about this price
OK but overly impressed

Sansa firmware is a bit rubbish, can be quickly upgraded with excellent freeware Rockbox :-)

great player. i use it rockboxed with a 200gb micro SDXC card from amazon for £50 in a deal. with the inbuilt 8gb it gives me about 200gb usually space, much more than the biggest ipod classic. i had a 160gb classic lying around unused forr a while till i rockboxed it but sold it and use the sandisk instead as it let's me swap memory cards easily. it's very small and light so you need to be careful with it. screen is tiny and sometimes hard to see if the sun is shining on it, but apart from that it plays 24bit flac files amongst most other file types, no need to have tags in order as it plays in order of filename and moves to the next folder

I have a Sansa Clip+ rockboxed with a 128gb micro SD card. It's not even half full. There's not a lot high storage hdd players about.
