Fine for those that are on an absolute firm budget, but most people would be better off spending a few pounds extra and getting the 1TB Crucial MX500 for £112.76 from Amazon UK.

Its got 5 year warranty vs a three year warranty. I would pay the extra couple of quid.

On top of that you get more usable storage after formatting then the plus. Multiple reasons.

You could buy a USB enclosure and connect it to your Smart TV but I'm not sure what would be the point though. What exactly are you wanting to do with an SSD and your tv? If for example you just want to store some media files in order to say watch movies on your tv then you may as well just buy a large HDD and save yourself some money, you don't need SSD speeds in order to do that.

These are going for just under £105 from AmazonWarehouse. Any idea if you still get the five year warranty?

Will this work on a Ps4 Pro?

I know SSDs work.

I was asking if this particular one would work.

Thanks for the unhelpful response.

I've gone for a 1TB SSHD, since I hear the performance is similar once you load a game up 5 times, but the price is much better.

Although I did just see a 960GB SSD for £96 on here.

If you know that SSDs work in a PS4 Pro then why are you asking whether this particular one would worK?
And where on earth did you heard that SSHDs offer similar performance to an SSD "once you load a game up 5 times"? That's a very odd claim.

Google is your friend.

That's how SSHD work.

On a Ps4, it will give similar performance after loading up a game 5 times. It wont beat an SSD on a PC, though. It's because the console SATA is bottlenecked.

It's a very specific claim, of course it's incorrect, but not entirely illogical. SSHDs are basically HDDs with a very large cache; frequently used files will be retained in the cache and less frequently used files will be deleted.

So a game that you're playing regularly will load faster with SSHD than if you just had a traditional hard drive, provided you don't play other games/apps in between.

From personal experience, I thought my SSHD was good for starting up windows and web browser but I didn't notice any other difference between it and an HDD, and these days I wouldn't bother with them, just throw an SSD in there and use an external HDD for less played games.
