been at 78 before, started at 53. this looks close to ebay prices for refurbished so tempted

does anyone know about intel rapid storage technology?

i believe that is limited to 64gb but merges your ssd with a HDD so kind of like a cheap way of getting a good SSHD but apparantly SSHD's nand ram wears out after a while?

if we're still stuck at 64gb limit, I guess could partition one of these of try and find a cheap old 64gb but they are about 20 quid on ebay making this seem better value
These sized SSDs should be £40-45 by now. Still high in my opinion and sellers are just drip feeding the market to squeeze maximum price from consumers.

Do you have any evidence for your opinion?

You are aware that the price spike was due to a severe supply shortage while the manufacturers switched to new 3D fabs? These started coming on line at the end of 2017 and is continuing now. . Each fab takes several months to ramp up production to anywhere near capacity [cf 'learning curve'].

Hence the gradually falling prices we have seen in the last few months. However, this is being mitigated by the pent up demand from people like me who held off buying last year knowing prices would fall this year. Plus as there is still a shortage the manufacturers are concentrating into pushing their available production into higher margin business. In particular very high capacity enterprise products.

When there is a surplus then us bottom feeders may enjoy a bonanza as we did 2 years ago.
Are these any good for a go pro? Thanx
I've got a crucial 128gb on laptop ssd. Been used for 5 years and keep needing space. Would upgrading to this and clean install speed it up a bit or not noticeable?
Hi guys. Can I use this one as an external ssd for traveling? If so, do I need any universal case?
