One is Ultra, and the other is Extreme, so (strictly speaking), not a true like for like comparison, etc?. :-)

But I definitely hear what you're saying though ...

I understand what you mean, my point is to go for £19.98 for extreme rather than £16.99 for ultra, However; it depends upon the device to use on.

I'd expected to be sub £14 but even on Prime day it 's £14.49. So, I would tag the price to be £14.49 or £14.99 is ok.

It was £14.49, only a couple of quid but it wss cheaper
I'm in HK atm and can find these for £12.50 here, I assumed they'd be around the same price online at myMemory or somewhere similar?

You forget, thing's are ALWAYS going to be that little bit cheaper where you are, etc?.

First and foremost you're literally buying it from 'source' - as 'equivalents' of the same here are not necessarily source (they need to be imported to here first, or whatever?).

And import duties aside (as in both on Hong Kong's end, as well as on the UK end too), you're also looking at different working standard's/working ethics between the two Countries - which blatantly are not necessarily the same either (irrespective of whether that's a good thing, a bad thing, and/or a 'whatever' thing ... )

And that aside too, there's also the FAT 20% VAT thing we're obligated/obliged with here also - I've no idea as to what Hong Kong's own VAT thing over there is?, but by all means, do feel free to enlighten us all though?, lol (anyways, I'm pretty sure it's no way NEAR 20% right? - as it's known Worldwide that we're one of only FEW Countries that pay the MOST VAT in the World, for anything ... ) :-(

So, with all thing's (above) considered, it's all but pretty much self explanatory as to why your one is selling for a cheap as chips price, whereas our version of the exact same is selling for, well?.

Enough said ... lol.

Slightly different note (but on point with your whole Hong Kong 'theme').

Hong Kong being a former British Empire Colony from back in the Day, my question is this, are there a lot of those that are native to Hong Kong, who are still speaking good English out there?.

Or has that side of thing's pretty much reverted back to the Chinese/Mandarin language now, etc etc? (a combination of all the above perhaps?), or ...

I'm only asking as I'm also considered going there one Day. :-)

Thanx.

WOW!!, now that WAS a notable difference, huh?, thanx, lol.

Note to self: warms up time machine (with the necessary flux capacitors entow), and ... hehehehehehe.

It's all good though. :-D

I hope it was from a reputable seller; I value my data so I buy from places I know.

There are tons of fakes with fake capacities that have firmware flashed tricking the device thinking it's the stated capacity when they're only 4gb etc.

And then, once you reach 4gb it seems to rewrite over your old files - hence people moaning and complaining that their family photos are gone but really it's a dodgy sd.
