Cannot see anything at the moment. But it might be a good idea to wait for an offer if you can. £40 is full price. I got one on Amazon Prime day for £28.

I've linked a new one for £34, £40 is the standard price these days. I haven't voted on your deal, but there are and have been cheaper cards in this instance. I also attached an image with the price I paid.

So what was your original post all about then?

It's a good idea to not make idiotic comments unless you have something to back it up!

I attached an image with the Amazon price I paid, even £34 isn't really a HOT deal. Hong Kong are just the same as UK sellers, you need to buy from someone who has over 10k feedback and reputable.

Some Tescos have had these for about 20 quid for a while now on clearance. Picked one up myself from the Caister store for £19.50
Most of the device accept upto 32gb some upto 64gb check yours before you buy this.

Sandisk card from Hong Kong... I'm speechless mate
What typically silly comments on here.

I actually need to buy a high speed 128GB MicroSD card this week. Not next week, not last week, this week. And, as far as I can see, this is the cheapest available from a major UK retailer with next day delivery. Yes it has been cheaper, and obviously it will be cheaper again, but now this appears to be the cheapest. So it has to be hot.

Bit shocking, though, the price of MicroSD at the moment, does anyone know why?

Edit: The answer: Global NAND shortage.

That's actually the one I bought for my Lenovo P2. It can cope with 256gb cards, but i can't afford one of those yet.

I've got 15,000 songs stored on mine and the P2 does cope with them quite well - there's no real noticeable lag when it's playing stuff in shuffle mode as it finds the next song.

I'd certainly recommend one.

Why are you speechless? Are you saying that everything bought in England is legitimate and everything from Hong Kong is a fake? A select % of them are manufactured in Quarry Bay (Hong Kong), and sold to various outlets in the Asia region. I guess we should tell them all to import from the UK since we're the only country that sell real cards.

This is HOTDealsUK though, not STANDARDPRICEUK. It might be the cheapest if you want it now, but it would completely defeat the object of the website. This isn't a HotDeal at all, this is normal price.

But it is cheapest around, and it's lower than the standard price. Most places are now £50+ And the price is likely be even more in the next few months with the NAND supply deficit. Next year, barring unforeseen problems, they are likely to be massively cheaper as new manufacturing plants flood the market, but that's next year.....

You can Google search everyday, and find a different price cheaper than this. Here is todays:

ebay.co.uk/itm…641

£31, there are 4 left. New, seller from the UK - has over 400 feedback. £40 isn't a HotDeal. I don't even believe £31 is a HOT deal, its just a good price. If you can save a tenner by Googling it, then this temperature I personally think is accurate.

EDIT: More here for £30 seller has over 3000 feedback. ebay.co.uk/itm…641

But I, and lot's of others, will only buy a commonly faked product from a retailer like Amazon. Those sellers may be perfectly fine, but I will not buy an SD card from Ebay.

Thats fine, but what these "silly comments" are saying are that its not a HotDeal at £40. I do believe they are right, regardless of retailer.

I personally think a retailer with over 3000 positive feedback can be trusted, but its schematics anyway. A HotDeal is dependant on the price, and this one can be found cheaper. If you are sceptical there are apps such as SDInsight that can check the legitimacy of a card.

Well it's clearly not a stunning deal, but if you include delivery it's still 10% cheaper than the next cheapest online mainstream retailer. I always think if I can get 5% off something that I need to buy it's a deal. If it's something I don't really need I am happy to wait, years sometimes, for a better price.

But the packaging looks just like the ones that are three times as much! That seller is really missing a trick - everywhere else is over £40 and lot's of places are out of stock, they could charge so much more!

If you check them, you know they're real. Eliminating a website because of that isn't really the solution, I bought parts from Curry's Warehouse store on eBay and I trust Currys. You can't eliminate an entire website because of fakes, they exist everywhere. Check the sellers reputation, also fakes have been known to be sold from my memory aswell. People get dodgy stock, it happens.

It's about risk. My judgement based on experience is that the risks of ending up with a fake are not acceptable. However, if your risk tolerance is higher, fine, good luck to you.
