I thought this was a steal for those who just want a smaller & cheaper MicroSD from a good brand.

Applies for Standard & Frustration Free Packaging

I'm using it as a ROM SD from my DSLite as I only have a 4GB one.

Fair enough, I guess this is good enough for those on Amazon Prime and like SanDisk as a brand.

I only ever trust them with flash memory & sd cards.

PNY are good in terms of electronics but haven't tried their SD cards yet

WAIT ......if you buy 10 of these............ you can use the Amazon £10 off vouch..........................................OH !!!

Also £5 from tesco direct I bought one last week - better first me as prime ran out before christmas

16GB is becoming the new 2GB

I can't find this, have you got a link please?

OOS.

Next cheapest is £6.73 from an unknown 3rd party seller which I wouldn't touch with a bargepole due to the risk of it being a counterfeit card.

Yeah, prices are steadily going down to stimulate sales. Hopefully no factory fires will stop that trend again

What is annoying is that there seems to be a lot of resistance to go beyond 128GB cards or memory sticks as they start to clash with SSD capacity. 256GB & 512GB cards/sticks are even more expensive than SSD's of same capacity, when they should start to be creeping down in price now the way SSD prices are.
