400GB in a tiny card... wow

Imagine where the technology will go in the next 10 years.

I still remember my first desktop PC which had 32GB HDD space and I was well happy

Good for lots of things
Just be sure your device can read a card of that size. Some have limits (due to software/firemware).

WOW... but it would be too much risky. I've got 30 yrs old HDD and it is still fine but have had cards gone faulty almost every year.

The SanDisk extreme or extreme pro are far better

I always buy Sandisk as I know they are most likely to get damaged within 5 years and then get a brand new one from the company as they always honor their warranty without asking too many questions.

Last time my 32GB Sandisk got damaged and they sent me 64GB as a goodwill so cant complain

[Serious] What makes them better?

The conversion rate on this is 1 and the extreme is a 3 so you won’t let lag on videoing and the read and write speed is far superior on the extreme all depends on what you use the card for

ha that's the actual reason I avoid them like the plague! every sandisk memory product I've had over the years has failed. I sold the last one replaced under warranty

I'd go for a different brand if I needed a micro SD card. Even with my 128GB SD card I back up after every day I do a photo shoot (amateur/enthusiast, not pro).

Don't trust your memory. Back up onto external drives, NAS's, and cloud storage

conversely I have had many hard drives that have failed between 1-3 years but have SD drives which are going strong since they were first manufactured including one 16mb card which must be one of the earliest examples from 1999/2000 which is still working - although no longer of any use.

Why thats then? I play 4K content off my USB Thumb drive and it works fine. Pretty sure this card has a faster read and write than my rubbish memory stick.

Film on gopro using this then try the SanDisk extreme and you’ll see a massive difference especially at 60fps
How easy is it to transfer switch data between micro sd’s? I have a 128gb card that I’d like to upgrade to something this size
Crazy price for this! Disappointing thing is I just got a P30 Pro so now have to find cheap Nano cards!

32gb was a lot i had my first pc with mb memory can't remember exactly how much it was but it wasn't more than a single gigabit.. Had another one with win98 that was a nightmare to reinstall and super slow with a few games that even nokia 3210 could match
Strange size should 512 not be next

Anyone know would this work with a PS Vita?
I have dumped sandisk now, 2x64gb ultra, 128gb ultra dies in last two years. All other cards like transcend, integral, samsung are still going strong. I hope others had better experience with them.

Time Computers that's a blast from the past, with all their special offers in newspapers. Reminds me of Special Reserve, with gaming offers by subscription.

But great for Switch.

Especially the emulated kind
£39.22 after conversion from revolut..... Deal Thanks assume once converted to euros it won't fluctuate before Amazon take funds from card?

I remember my dad paying £200 for an 80mb hard drive for my Amiga A1200.

Early 90s.

25 years later this comes along. 0.001% of the size with 20000% of the capacity and 20% of the price. Bonkers.
