Why would you? 3 X 128gb is about half the price.

I remember 128MB Smart Media cards costing £130.
Memory is ALWAYS expensive when a new size comes out.

Even then what device do you have that has 3 MicroSD slots?

Most devices wouldn’t take that much memory.

I'll wait for the 2 TB version thanks

It'll only take 5.5 hours to fill it from scratch. Is anyone likely to do that?

Can return if poor performance
Great size, impractical cost. Will slowly come down though, good to know 400GB at least on the market and can (probably) only get cheaper going forward.

Wonder why Sandisk has adopted these non standard capacities though? e.g. the next logical step after 128GB is 256GB and then 512GB rather than 200GB and 400GB? Their 400GB is going to start looking a bit stingy when the other manufacturers come out with 512GB ones....
What devices support this?

Cool, but it'll probably cost 10 times as much as your phone

If you have Galaxy Note 8 or another £ 1000 phone or take 4K videos etc , this is ideal memory .

2TB microsd. That will be great . No need for harddisks. I hate mechanical desktop harddisks . So heavy and clumsy . Wish they were obsolete like the floppy disks.
200gb mem card cost me just under £50
My 128gb card failed and I lost a lot of personal stuff, be careful.

"Wear". These devices are an array of multiple chips/components/areas - these devices very likely are 512GB but the lost 112GB will be to handle manufacturing defects. The SD cards went from 64 -> 128 -> 200 -> 256 -> 400. So, presumably 512GB and 800GB are in the future somewhere. Whilst write-speeds wont be superlative, for the people that buy these - they dont care. Put 400GB of movies into your table/phone, and you will probably have 1-5y of movie watching - greater than the life of your device.
interesting to see 400gb, missus has a 256gb card in her s7 and she goes great can i have one, then told her the price lol

It's probably due to technical limitations with today's manufacturing technology. 400GB is the limit they can reliably produce due to yealds.

The pound conversion rate has gone down against US dollar and price of flash memory has doubled since US Micron bought Japanese memory maker Elpida and Toshiba facing financial problems . Otherwise it would still be cheap . If the pound rises after Brexit , we may have cheap memory again.
Yes, 3X128 is half price but this is 1x400! Do not compare it! It is expensive but 400 GB, NOT 13x32!
This must be a joke cold from me
Imagine losing it.

Imagine losing it.

Imagine what can you do with the added capacity esp with the new S8 and Note 8 phones from Samsung which work as computer as well. With Dex and Display port alternate mode supported over USB C , you can have a computer in your pocket with all the memory you need.
200gb is only £69.99.

200gb is only £69.99.

But you cannot buy two 200 GB and make 400gb. Most devices have only one microsd slot
