Good price, cheers
Can this be used to record 4K footage or only FHD
This the price I paid for 1gb memory stick all most 15 years ago. Getting cheaper every year. 😊
Great find, thank you
Just picked up my 64GB Sandisk Extreme for £17.79 with the recent weird Halfords deal on here.
Now that was a bargain.

So what brand would you recommend?
Clasa A rated are better for android 'adoptable storage'.
I’m having problems with Picstop (via Amazon) wiith a current order - extremely slow delivery (20+ days)

But the point is that Ultras have a lower write tolerance than the best of the other cards, most probably because they use the cheaper, less durable TLC nand memory. That makes them a poor buy if you're using them for tasks where there are alot of repeated writes to memory eg. large video file recording. I had three of these Ultras now and all have failed.

If you want a card that fails and takes all your data with it, then be my guest.

Given the colour difference and deal hotukdeals.com/dea…827 is this item a FAKE????

Fakes can be good but there are so many of them - obviously when you receive it test it with softpedia.com/get…tml

Meanwhile on another review site they score 4.8/5. I've used them several times and have had no issues. From my experience they're highly regarded in photographic circles. reviews.co.uk/com…top

it looks like the grey one is a slightly older stock. the same one is still on Sandisk itself - although they state the write speed is 48 mbps. sandisk.co.uk/hom…mbs

my point is your comment is misleading you said "unreliable cards with limited write cycles" anyone reading that who doesnt know about flash memory will probably assume there's cards that are reliable and that dont have a write cycle limit and go searching for something that doesnt exist.
this deal is overheated, slow card for cheap
been much faster cards for pennies more

If that's the case, then you must struggle with basic reading comprehension and understanding of SD cards and reliability.

As I said before, these are unreliable cards with limited write cycles.

There are more reliable cards out there. This is one to avoid.

Can you actually read or is someone reading my comments to you in their own words? I never once said there isnt more reliable cards out there i agree with you i know there is. Im simply pointing out they ALL HAVE LIMITED WRITE CYCLES which is something you never mentioned while bashing the cards. If they all have limited write cycles why mention it like its a problem with these cards.

EVERYTHING has limited writes. Try and record and delete 1 billion 50Mbps 10GB videos on any SD card, DVD, VHS tape, Betamax, or other removable media and it will fail at some point.

But there's a huge difference between a TLC nand based card that's good for only 500 write cycles and a MLC nand based card that's good for over 2000.

Capiche?

Too slow
I would warn anyone ordering for Xmas that I ordered one of these from picstop on 26th Nov and still haven't received it on 11 Dec, over 2 weeks larer. I received one of the three SD cards I ordered, all of which were showing as in stock. While picstop appears to be UK based the package I received came from the Netherlands. As it stands 2 out of 3 presents I'm giving will be useless on Xmas day if the cards don't arrive in time.
