do they get hot like the older type?
Nice and neat for the psx mini if you don't want to flash OTG firmware.

Not as hot, but mainly because is plastic, not metal. Don't think they changed anything apart from the material. Still ok if not large capacity, never had issues with my 32gb but prefer other brands for larger capacity.

Supporting the 'local' businesses, isn't it? Paid £7.99 for 32gb a while ago and I knew that for slightly more it will be better value to get larger capacity, but 32 gb was enough for what I needed

Does this work with playstation classic? I've seen a couple of reviews that say that 3.1 isn't compatible, that's why I bought the 64gb USB2 one (approx £9.70 from Pic.) This, I can personally say, works perfectly with the psx classic.

Wow - I had no Idea this was possible. Thanks for the share. That otg adapter seems out of stock at pi shop. Have ordered really cheap ones from eBay, to see if they work

FYI the 16GB does not work, oddly it seems the 64gb might be the only one.

This one (64GB version USB2) definitely works and is really discrete too, but is obviously slower than the one posted by the OP which is better value. And incidentally best value is to buy direct from PicStop rather than from the Amazon or Ebay shop with few pennies from Topcashback available too. Hope this helps someone as I've wasted a lot of money on usb sticks that don't work:-

picstop.co.uk/usb…tml

In my experience this will work with Psx classic too :-
