SanDisk small print for this is up to 15x the speed of usb 2 writing at 4mbs

so up to 60mbs then, why not just say that....

Normally I take an obviously missing piece of information as a sign that it’s not going to be great news I’d like to know too

Don't bother.
Windows reports 5 seconds remaining during file copy but in real Life expect another 5 minutes)
Make a Coffee.

The cache ram fills up quick and then the drive is busy while the flash is written to.
I use a 128GB Sandisk Go for fast writes.
