not strictly true, as a pro photographer, I and a great many of my coleagues use either 1 or 2 gb cards in preference to the 4 or 8 gig ones as it's better to lose a few pics than thousands in the case of a meltdown problem.

For example my mate was working in Kiev last week and their sandisc corrupted losing them a couple of hours work rather than the whole weeks.

The Amazon offer is now from their Jersey site and my local PC World wouldn't match the price for that reason.
