I should have bought it last week. I saw it at the lower price but never got round to buying one. I bought this one at 29.99 which is still a cracking deal for now. Well under half the price of a 200GB and less than double the price of a 64GB.

Wow!

had one of these in my lenovo p2 and had about 15,000 mp3’s on it. coped very well with access times - well worth a punt if you’ve got a lot of media and can’t afford a faster card

Sadly I missed out on the £27.99 deal as well, but I picked this up earlier and was going to repost it myself. It looks like a really good card, class10 will be fine for my needs.

Thanks. That will do me for my holiday snaps

Anyone know how many days it takes for delivery?

Nice.

You could be in for a very long wait - hope you're a patient person (or I am wrong!).

I ordered a couple via the last deal on the weekend. It's been dispatched but I'm still awaiting delivery.

are these definitely genuine sandisk cards? got one for around the same price and it kept messing up transfers then when I wiped it the card wasn't actually 128gb (or, clearly, a genuine sandisk). Got my money back at least.

I always run h2testw on any new memory card I buy, no matter where I've bought it. Would have thought Picstop was decent, but nothing surprises me any more!

I did put a warranty claim on a 64GB silver/red SDXC card nearly two years ago, which kinda blighted Sandisk's reputation for me..I've bought a few Samsung MicroSD cards since.

Well on the sandisk website the company is listed as one of their online stores within the where to buy section so I guess that is a plus point. sandisk.co.uk/abo…buy

This card is ideal for the Nintendo Switch apparently, ordered one myself earlier.. To be honest it's way more space than i need, most of my games will be physical but for this price it's worth it just in case.

64gb is probably more than enough for my my tablet but this ìs a bargain!

Was a couple of quid cheaper around three years ago.

Personally I'm waiting to see if the price increases over the next year.

This one is class 10 and 128GB. I understand this is cheap chinese vs Scan disk but the price gap should not be that big.

Could anyone who know comment why this one is much cheaper the deal on this thread

It's fake. It's very easy to make an sd card "look" like it can hold a certain capacity when in reality it can only hold a fraction of that amount. If a deal seems too good to be true, it probably is. Even chinese retailers (gearbest etc) can't sell it for near that price, but some random on eBay can. Do not buy

Would this be a good card for a Raspberry Pi?

Just ordered for my pi, most cards work in it.

Pretty good deal.

Ebay = fakes. I know, I have purchased enough of them. And ebay keep a watch on who purchases them from the fake suppliers then tries to sell them on. I know because I have gone through their discussion forum logs when I have had disputes with the suppliers.

Lol £4.99 for a 64gb Evo card which does not have the Samsung branding but has the same colour and design as the Samsung Evo cards. These cards are utter rubbish. They will appear to write the 64gb but when you try to access the data it will play back only 2gb worth. You are wasting your money on these fakes.

It might as well be - I'm spending 3 weeks on the other side of the world. It will be amazing. 128 gb will provide plenty of room for sights and sounds :).

Just thought i'd mention.

I have had GREAT SUCCESS getting this 128GB memory card to work with both my GoPro Hero Session cameras. They might work with other GoPro cameras but I havent been able to test on the other models as i do not own them so YMMV.

Do note that your GoPro will run a little 'warmer' than usual with this 128GB memory card installed. This is a side effect that has been observed on both my hero sessions and is no cause for alarm. I Have been running them as helmet cameras for over a year and neither of them have died on me.

Just make sure you format them when you install them in your gopro.

I like to just hold my mobile and video in front of me taking in the sights and sounds. Much better than pictures when your back home.

Enjoy your holidays

On the real, how much at all does one need for their Raspberry to fire on all it's cylinders at all?, hehehehehe. :-D

64GB is possibly more then overkill even, or at best 32GB should/could be more then sufficient perhaps?

But 128GB ... lol.

Unless you're got some hardcore Programming Programme Projects on the card's? (requiring many GB's of storage space or something?).

And/or perhaps you have some proper intensive Boxset TV Season downloading to contend with, costing several GB's worth of storage space instead, etc? (eg. like all 8 Season's of Game Of Throne's, and/or all 6 Season's of Breaking Bad, etc etc etc ... )

Hehehehehe, just me, thinking a bit out loud like. :-D

I plan on running retropie with PS1 or Dreamcast games, can only get a handful on a 32gb hence why I want a bigger card!

What card is the fastest for HD video recording?

Would this work on my little ASUS E200HA 11.6" notebook? Only came with 32GB!
