These standard cards are not warranted for continuous recording so not recommended for dashcams or security cams etc

Check the footage in in your home camera to see if its still working, These cards are notoriously bad and can fail within months when used for continuous loop recording such as dash/home cams.
Sorry for a question I should know the answer to, but would this be any good for use in a Windows tablet for running apps from not just storing photos

If you are going to be running Apps from the card I'd recommend getting a card with the A1 stamp on. Few quid more for one with A1 standard on Amazon amazon.co.uk/gp/…h=1

Not selling well?
When did buying an SD card become so complicated, my camera likes my Samsung Evo but not my Evo+, and it's like that goes against everything people say about buying the right one

This card is not recommended for Gopro's but many that aren't recommended do still work. Check out this vid for more info

Mine just failed after about a year of being in my fire tablet. I couldn't delete or add anything to the card, If I tried deleting it would return after refreshing. I couldn't format it nor wipe it, just everything I tried didn't work so I just threw it in the end.

Sandisk won’t replace this card if it fails. They only recommend the high endurance for dashcams. But obviously this is a lot cheaper. I haven’t voted eithet way

Picto also have the 128gb A1 version of this card for £29.99 which is around a tenner cheaper than everywhere else (excluding eBay) so I've just grabbed one of those to go in my switch.

I'd get me money back, and buy this instead ...

There's no way I'm paying the best part of £20 for only 16GB? (that's way too expensive for my blood).

Yes, it would be perfect for that. :-)

I've run video's from such memory card's on my Windows Tablet, as well as some installed programs I've chosen to run off of a memory card (as opposed to that of the Windows Tablet's limited internal storage, etc?), and ran perfectly for me, yeh. :-)

A Windows Phone on the other hand is a totally different animal when it comes to running Windows-based App's via a memory card, etc ...

Trial and error basically? (but Windows Tablet's tend to behave wayyyyyyy more BETTER, than that of their Windows Phone counterparts - from my personal experience in the past anyway).

£10 in Tesco for anyone who doesn't want to wait for delivery.

That's actually an excellent price from a PHYSICAL Store (as opposed to pennies to the £pound from an Online Store).

These same 32gb microsd memory cards were only £7, just over 2 year's ago:

hotukdeals.com/dea…666

hotukdeals.com/dea…645

hotukdeals.com/dea…333

I remember getting quite a few of them for that price at the time - and considering that price then ballooned all last year + the earlier part of this year too (between £25-£30 each in the shops, and/or between £12-£15 each online), so I'm soooooooo glad I the did!.

Get these at the slightly cheaper rate while you can basically ...

£14.99 you say?.

Not anymore you can't ...

If so, link please?. :-)

These were the only people recently/of late that did it:

hotukdeals.com/dea…759

But as you can see, that's since expired ... (expired this Tuesday, I know, as I also got some on that very same Day - last Day).

Yep, generally, don't use these thing's in Dash Cam's ...

I believe the original Go-Pro's some 8 year's or so ago accepted 'normal' ('non-extreme') memory card's and the like?.

But those generic Day's of doing such thing's without any potential possible consequence at the back end of it are now gone - it's a gamble to force such basically?.

Do it at your own peril I guess.

Apps run on random input-output of data. Standard Class 10 card only gets around 0.5mb write and 5mb read per second, really not ideal for running apps. A1 Standard should at least achieve 4 times that, especially on the write side of things.

Personally after trying out a UHS-1 card to run apps on my partners Android I wouldnt recommend it, took forever for some apps to load, and some even just crashed. Gave the A1 class card a go and it runs apps almost as quick as the internal flash memory does.
This is perfect for a raspberry pi!

It's an American, or British Store ...

I believe that VAT has already been 'applied' to the total price, etc? (and from that we then get our £8.99).

my receipt says VAT £0.00 ? I was just curious if they were doing some sort of tax scam or they're grey imports or something. It had an address of Netherlands on it so I wondered if it's being shipped from outside the EU as my company imports things from China that come into NL and get posted on this way.
