Most of the recommended cards are U3 ones with fast write speeds, that rules out the Toshiba U3 card, which has fast read but not so fast write. The Lexar 633 is the only U1 card recommended, but that does not appear to be available anymore.

Yes anything that takes a micro SD card
Its fine for camera and video recording use. It is not fine for dashcam use where it is constantly writing and overwriting. If the Mavic records like a video camera for limited period I would guess it will be fine, however for 4k video recording I would opt for a card that has U3 specification.

Sure you can
Bought 2 of these a year ago and both had a fault and locked themselves. Got replacement from SanDisk but don't trust them now personally.
