30 pin?

Isn't this a repost? I bought one last week...not sure on the exact rules tbf! Amazing value and sound for money! It is old 30pin but also has Bluetooth built in which my iPhone 5 owning friend loves as he bought one too so can charge and use phone while doing air play...great for my Xperia z too!

The only deals I can see were at a higher price. I had a question for you as an owner. Do you need to use the remote to switch between sources. I'm particularly interested in the AUX in, as I'd like to use them as both computer speakers and as a dock, and I'd prefer not to be forced to use the remote to switch sources.

I got one last week fort this price and am well impressed with the build and sound quality. There are no buttons on the unit so presume the remote is required to change sources.

I got one a few weeks back when they were £29.99. Pretty good for the price and sounds ok in the conservatory.

As he said! It's to stop conflicts between Bluetooth, dock and aux....would of been nice to have buttons on back....don't lose the remote but would recommend for your pc as saves you having to get separate mini amp from eBay but proper quality speakers for the money...much better then most pc speakers...

Yeah you're right! Someone posted a link and cheaper price on the deal but never posted it! Hats off and good find! Me and my mates cleared out five of them from derby after they saw features and heard mine! Don't get me wrong they are not as good as a separate system or probably the zeppelin (I went denon dm39 mission speakers and Apple TV and smashes the zeppelin for about same price!) but they sound better then any other sub 250 iPod dock I've heard as proper speakers

Btw zeppelin or that set up about £450 so obviously not as good but great value for money! It would be like people on here who compare a chromebook with a MacBook and saw for a bit more you can buy a MacBook!

Thanks for all the opinions, I've reserved a pair. It's a bit of shame if the inputs can only be changed on the remote, but it sounds most of you think it's good value for money.

Reserved. Sounds a bargain to me.

I just resevered ANOTHER set after being well impressed with the set I got on the weekend.

Good way to get internet radio with the aid onf a mobile phone ( which we all have) So one set for the kitchen and another for the bedroom :-)

I know this is digging up an old thread, but I was wondering if anyone else who bought these find them turning off after half an hour to an hour. It says in the manual that auto standby kicks in after 4 hours, but that's not my experience. A blue light starts flashing after the half an hour to hour mark and no sound comes out. A source must be selected to get it to work again. It's kind of irritating to have it power off so often. 4 hours wouldn't be a big deal. I'm just trying to decide if I should return it. Shame I will be unlikely to find a replacement one.

not had problem u speak of...when using bluetooth i go in on phone settings and reselect after going away from them for a while and been fine...
