Just popped into Argyle Street, Glasgow store not long ago and there's quite a few left - usually when I look for Sanpellegrino there's none to be found! No Blood Orange flavour here, though, that's the one my niece goes for
2950172.jpgI'm pretty sure Poundland do the same offer but I only saw a stray, lone one there a few weeks ago at my local store's 2 For £1 Drinks section!

No matter how good you think your Deal is, there's always someone who'll say something, anything, negative! I didn't advertise it as Sugar Free...?

What is the Best Before date on the base of these? Decent price!

From shopping at Poundworld and -land regularly, if they're short-dated they get reduced..Poundland take short-dated stock right down to 10p depending on the date, as days/weeks pass!33918473-SssIX.jpg

0% aspartame or phenylalanine.

I know which I prefer.
I think it's a no-brainer to be cautious about drinking cans of pop as they make you bloat and put on weight massively, and it's so easy to do! There are hidden sugars/salts/saturated fats in all sorts of innocent-looking foods, you've just got to use common sense. I drink fizzy drinks, but hardly ever, and I'm from the land of Irn Bru. The odd drop in alcohol (and the last time I was drunk was years ago) - I'm tea/coffee, all day, all night. Even during summer. Probably why I still have my teeth!!

I do like the taste of these but these are a once in a blue moon thing for me. The sun is shining and I thought I'd treat myself. And I bought a big bag of cherries from the fruit and veg guy across the precinct from Poundworld, also full of sugar

Anyway, I just told a cool story, bro.

We really don't need the lifestyle jibes, HUKD gets really silly sometimes.

Boyf has Type 1 and I do worry about the sugar substitutes he guzzles (and he drinks gallons more fizzy drinks than I do).

Always people on here can’t help themselves.

It’s usually the people who post the least deals too.

Whilst we're on the subject of cold drinks, I spotted these in B&M Robroyston (Glasgow) as well.

St Helier (obvious Sanpellegrino knockoff) - not sure what they taste like! 330ml, Lemon Or Orange (interestingly they are 12% Juice compared to Sanpellegrino's 20%), 49p. Maybe not as good but worth buying if you want something similar. Wish I'd bought one to try.

Also pictured to the right, is Belvoir Raspberry Light 330ml which is 39p and I really like - even though it's "30% Less Sugar".
33918755-0T7NS.jpgThey also had Perrier 500ml in Apple or Lemon for 39p. SmartWater 600ml for 49p, or 2 For 90p (never tried SmartWater, always thought it was a daft idea).
33918755-cJYxT.jpgForgot all about these, and it's about five days later, too late to make them into a Deal!

Good point. This makes them even better value for money. 🍻
I used the recent 6 x 330ml for £3 Sanpellegrino Co-op Deal as the reference point for pricing - but didn't actually read that thread till today.

Seems that newer Sanpellegrino cans now have sweeteners - just like the furore I vaguely remember around Irn Bru - which is a real shame.

So, I've taken another photo to show that these are the sinful, sugary variety!! 33918985-fhOfe.jpg

I, for one, am grateful for the advice, this is supposed to be a community after all?! This is a lot of sugar and all the poster is doing is bringing it to the attention of people that didn't know...like me! Don't take everything so offensively

It wasn't really "advice", was it, it could be interpreted as a passerby saying something snipey to be passive-aggressive. I see no advice given - the commenter didn't elaborate. In fact, my response to it was much more informative, probably TMI, actually. We all know fizzy drinks are full of sugar.

Just going by experience. Some people moan no matter how much information you give them or how helpful you try to be. I've been posting on here for 10+ years and I've seen and heard it all!

There was a recent thread of mine where the same complaint came up three times, so I highlighted in Bold info I'd given numerous times earlier...as an example. And they returned with a snippy reply - but I was justified in being slightly annoyed.

People tend not to read everything, which is fair enough. But I can't stand keyboard warriors who have nothing nice to say - unfortunately, these sort of responses are very much accepted on this website, where it wouldn't be tolerated on others - seems it only comes under the spotlight when/if replies turn truly offensive.

Home bargains have lemon and orange for 49p per can.

The best bit? They're Italian language imports. Great!!!
Love the lemon one but it goes straight through me 😳

Not the same though, these ones are the pre-Sugar Tax version, those ones are with added Stevia and don't taste very nice by all accounts.
I went into the same Poundworld yesterday (Argyle Street, Glasgow) especially and they had none left - not sure if they'll get more!
Were none left last week, but they have loads on shelves tonight - shame it's now raining!!
