Can we give this guy an award for best product description?

They should hire you at Apple or something. Skip all this nonsense and get down to the point:

"The new iPhone 7. It does like phone calls n messaging n apps n stuff"

heat given for the to the point description alone.

Excellent player. Lot of folk put Rockbox firmware on it to enhance options but even as standard it's a smashing piece of kit

Great player...........

To be fair, there is not a lot more to add. Aside from maybe, get some decent earphones of your own. Had mine for 4 or 5 yrs and it is great.

Got one recently. Great wee player. Well worth this price

just a heads up on this If the volume is low and cant turn up further change the region to rest of world as its limited in the UK

Hot, had mine for about 7 years. Ideal to take to the beach by the pool etc. Sound is great, forever leaving it on sun loungers and not had the worry about someone pinching it.

Sadly I have had nothing but problems with mine crashing, dying. Think I'm on my third ...I wonder if it just dosen't like running?

Great find, just bought it. Many thanks.

I've had two of these, first one broke (after loads of use) and second one I have put somewhere safe and can't find They are quite small so losing and mislaying them is a constant problem.

Fantastic product with extremely good sound, better than your phone or whatever. My only criticism is that it's been around for years now and really ought to be less than 24.99 for the 8GB.

Thanks for that. I really struggled with mine and don't bother using it. I'll try this.

Not a great price, think we paid this years ago for one.

Was OK but ended up never being used as mobile phones took over with storage space etc.

Heat added OP

Ideal for FLAC files. Much better DAC than most other consumer players anywhere near this price point.

Be sure to put Rockbox on.

Good battery life.

128gb mSD works fine in mine!

I've had one for years, great device. i paid £14 for a refurb one and it's still going strong. Like new just without retail packaging. I think £25 is too much given the age of this device.

Had mine for over a year now. Kept it stock with a 16gb sd card. Far better than my old ipod!

Heat added... how succinct! and bought one too

hot for description

Heated!

I've had one in the car for years with Rockbox on it, it's perfect for the job set to car mode as it turns on and off with the ignition.

Good idea, I may experiment with mine. Is car mode a rockbox thing or a SanDisk thing ?
Nevermind, I just noticed you had Rockbox on yours....doh !

I had one of these for a couple of years and Rockboxed it. Excellent player and much better sound than my phone but always found it a bit fiddly to make playlists.

Still, getting a new one with a 128GB microSD is tempting.

description gets heat !

Heat added but I much prefer the Sansa Zip layer over these Clips. The larger coloured screen of the Zip makes it easier for me to navigate whilst Rockboxed and being micro USB it means my stack of chargers around the house all fit. Running the Zip with a 64GB card is superb with my music and audiobook collection.

They have been this price for quite a while now at this place. I have bought two Sansa players from them in the past and they have been excellent to deal with.

how is it with talking to itunes? i get all my podcasts through there

Another vote for the Sansa Zip with Rockbox and a 64Gb microSD - best MP3 play I've ever had.

Sadly SanDisk seem to have stopped making them :-(

I switched from one of these to an Ipod 7 Nano for when I was out running but went back to this as it is lighter and easier to clip onto my shorts. Never bothered with RockBox as it does all I need it do.

Thoroughly recommend Rockbox. The included software is weak.Put Rockbox on,and you have a really good equalizer, great bass and treble, better volume and a really good battery life.

Ha,ha.The description is like getting Karl Pilkington to endorse a product!

As I stated on the previous page I use RockBox on mine, though for balance I should say (for anyone contemplating a purchase) that the downside to it is...

It has a terrible UI.

It takes quite a lot of getting used to and can have a bit of a learning curve if you want to do a lot of 'tweaking'. Given the size of the screen, however, it's certainly passable!

£23.74 If You Add This Code Savoo5

Heated, tho I dont need another - got 3 of them. Much better than than the later models so I am sticking with the Clip+. Perfectly fine without Rockbox; does everything I need (except Rockbox does remember your sleep setting whereas you have to reset on this one each time).

Absolutely awful deal but great description

You can get the Sansa Clip+ Jam on a certain auction site for the same price. Well you could a month ago when I bought it.

Saying that, personally I think this is a better model as the power button isn't on the front and just feels better but sadly this doesn't have a micro usb socket.

The sound quality on these is astonishingly good considering the price / size, especially if you're using FLAC.

IS this mp3, bluetooth enabled?

IS this mp3, bluetooth enabled?

MP3 yes, bluetooth, no.

I have had a Clip Zip for years and with Rockbox is the best portable music player I've ever used. The sound quality with FLAC files is amazing and the memory slot is a big selling point. I wish Sansa still made them.

Heat for the description. The price is outrageous, but I guess the quality of the player makes it desirable.

6 word description, 430 degrees and rising! Legend!
