If Santa goes to Wigan I'll put money on him slipping on a snowy roof and spending the rest of eternity telling people about his broken leg...

.... Oh sorry, I've just got Santa mixed up with Dave Whelan.

Dave Whelan did break his leg though.

Has he never mentioned it?

Cost me 80p

BRILLIANT! Happy to get a £2 one. Cheers OP and HUKD contributors.

We bought the Leeds one last year and while I think the books are a great idea, ours is full or grammatical errors that I can't face reading it to the children. Hope they have improved them this year. Heat for price and children do love these!

Thats the final straw, I'm moving to Bradford. Cheltenham is £2.

Grimsby? City of Culture? It's Hull! Grimsby is a desolate miserable town, whereas Hull is..... a desolate miserable city.

Bless them. The river is a massive divide unfortunately. Hull people probably know York, Leeds, Scarborough and even Sheffield more than they do Grimsby. I think the only reason I've ever been is to go straight through to Cleethorpes! The feeling is probably mutual. Having said that, if they can get some passing trade via the City of Culture then good luck to them. The bridge needs to be free and the road networks improved to encourage people to use the route as a link from Norfolk to the North East instead of cutting inland to the M1.

That got a bit serious.

Original Poster

We need the same here in Wales, a free bridge would make a big difference.

I'm glad this post has encouraged geographical chat, I love this great country ❤

Colouring books on there too for £1

Yeah and Bradford is... Oh ****.

Its grim up north.

For the avoidance of doubt Bradford is horrific.

Its like Syria but with a new, disappointing shopping centre (and some decent sneaky ale outlets)

£2 for nottingham, In my opinion they should pay me

The Santa is coming to Bolton is £1 in my local store they have not got many left !

Haha, you've got to love Peterborough. We were there the night before Easter Sunday and within 5 minutes of being on the high street, we witnessed a mass brawl between career alcoholics and a "lady" who opened a pub door and I assume she thought she'd entered the toilet.....she urinated on the floor and went back in the pub

The original Football Chairman. Remarkable what he did with Wigan and their meteoric rise, culminating in an FA Cup win versus the noisiest Lancastrians, Man City.

Where you from btw ... Long suffering Bratfudian 'ere ...

Bradford, right ? .. we know it's a sheetole but don't be so ashamed ...
