Santander Everday Credit Card, 0% 18 Months Balance Transfer Card, NO FEES

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Superb credit card with a high acceptance rate, 80 out of 100 allegedly approved (please check your eligibility online) My fair credit score got me a 4k limit no questions asked!

This card allows you to make one or more 0% balance transfers for NO FEE at anytime within the 18 month guaranteed period!

0% interest on purchases for 3 months from account opening also!

This Santander card is the top open-to-all no-fee option, and if you're accepted you'll definitely get the full 0% period – which isn't always guaranteed on other cards.

Unusually, you'll pay no fee if you transfer at any point within the 18 months, though you'd have less interest-free time if you waited.

Important: Clear card in full by end of 0% period to avoid 18.9% annual interest (always pay at least the monthly minimum repayment) & don't spend/withdraw cash on this card

Minimum repayment: Greater of 1% of balance plus interest, or £5

Worth bearing in mind this allows balance transfers throughout the full 18 month term. Other cards only give you between 30-60 days to transfer a balance without a fee

I wonder what made you read this thread...
Would stay away from santander. Reported them to the financial ombudsman. Took a credit card with 27 months 0% balance transfer. Confirmed to me over the phone when I rang up. After 1 year started charging me interest. Stating even though I was told on phone it was 27 months, now saying incorrect information given. I'd avoid them and look elsewhere

Can you make more than one transfer? And are you guaranteed the full 24 months?

Hot! Just got 6200 limit transferred my 123 purchase card that runs out in May thanks op
Can you balance transfer to this from Amex? Apparently an issue with Amex being 15 digits and others being 16 digits. Sainsburys can't, nationwide can. Does anybody know if Santander can?

I've got this card last year on the 27 month balance transfer period. I can confirm you can balance transfer from Amex which I have done multiple times from my BA Amex. Also you can balance transfer at anytime and incure no fees. Great way to smooth payments for large items.

Hey buddy, did you have to call up to balance transfer because I just made an application today and while applying when I tried to balance transfer it complained about the card number not being 16 digits? Also, how long do they take to make a decision on your application?

I didn't call up to do the balance transfer. It took a couple of days for the decision on the card to come through.

Once I received the card, I setup my online banking profile with Santander and could see the credit card on it. I then went to the balance transfer option and processed the Amex balance transfer.

No idea about that but Sainsburys bank has a no fee balance transfer option as well if that works for you.
Wonder if this is for existing customers too?

Yes you can but need to call them as can't be done online. They will ask for the sort code and account number (check your AMEX statement for these) and will use your AMEX 15-digit number as a reference.

Thanks OP. If accepted you’ve saved me £100. I nearly made a transfer to an existing card with a fee yesterday. Fingers crossed it’ll be ok. Got pre-approved so hopefully fine.
I applied for this card because of the no charges nearly 2 years ago. Did a balance transfer, paid it off but not used it since. Would be good to know if the offer applies to existing customers.

mazza1.05/01/2020 00:15
