Thanks for the info:thumbsup:

FYI its an amazing card - there is no charge for paying in foreign currency or withdrawing cash, only charges you interest on the money you withdraw making it better than anything else.

It's Even better than Nationwide's card for spending on card (and still 2nd best for withdrawing cash in foreign currencies). You can top up the card above the limit to avoid any charges at all

Good Luck, what a bunch of muppets! :x

You would not believe the hassle applying for one of these caused the wife and I:-(

I have been a customer of Abbey for over 20 years but recenttly have become very unhappy with them. I suspect this muppet may well be moving on to pastures new. :x

Great card but they left me high and dry when I hit my limit whilst in America. They didn't want to know when I rang them, despite paying off my balance in full for several months beforehand.

They also took no money from my account in the previous month, despite owing several hundred on the card. Knock on effect was I was stuffed.

Their billing system is ridiculous and online banking the worst I've ever seen. No export to Quicken/Excel/MS Money and error messages are in Spanish.

I also suspect they'll be charging like every other conning bank in the next few months.

you can also get this deal if yo have a Santander or A&L mortgage!

What about a Cater Allen business account? They are a Santander subsidiary.
