Cracking deal, still impossible to beat the RX 570 for price to performance at this end of the market.
Good as a card for a non gamer who needs a GPU for ryzen 3800x build? Not looked into GPU use for video editing software yet.
What are the top two connections on the back? Yup know zero about graphics cards.

display port.

Seems like a great deal unless i'm missing something. £111 for an 8Gb 570. I have one in my basket.
Is this better than an gtx1650? Or rx480 4gb? Thank you.

Would this graphics card be powerful enough for 4K UHD HDR Dolby Vision video playback or is a more powerful card required?

Would be initially using it with an Intel Xeon E3-1230 v2 3.30GHz CPU.

Thanks.
Price is dropping further - now down to £111.21.
i have a 1070 and want to move away from NVIDIA is this the way to go or do you think amd are bringing out a new GPU this year .. scoot

This is worse than the 1060, no way should you swap a 1070 for one.
This is pretty good, I was looking at this a while back because it would play a lot of current games at 1080P, >50-60FPS
At 1440P is was a bit more like 40FPS

If you're happy with lower performance for around the same power consumption.
As far as I can tell, this is identical to the Sapphire pulse RX 570 8G, just with a DVI port removed. I guess that might be a problem for some people, but not me, so I have ordered one.
price is still dropping, by pennies per hour

Worse? Waaat?

Even so, a 1070 is significantly better, so the point that he shouldnt change is still valid!

I think its perfect for your use case, i doubt you will see much of a benefit getting a more expensive card, unless your moving into the world of 3D

Better than a 1650 but not the Super version

Any good for video editing? Want o e that’s quiet as well, some of these cards sound like hair dryers! Thanks
I'd recommend using AMD's new auto-overclock feature in the latest driver. My 480 8gb went from a very mild factory OC to higher than a 580 boost speed and its stable! Nice new feature thats kept my card in the game a bit longer.

OK time to get serious and do some research!
I am an occasional gamer (who only really plays Apex Legends - on a 750ti). I do have a 144hz monitor. How would I see what FPS I might get on that game? Is there a tool or something?

Sorry if that's a silly question but I'm not a big gamer. I did try Google but couldn't see anything specific.

thats a mismatch (144Hz with such a weak GPU!)

here is a rough comparison:

its a pretty massive upgrade!

Now at £110.26, will be £109 by my estimate at around 22:00 if the price keep dropping.

Might be about £109.36 then, I'd hate to be out by 36p though.
Price has now leapt up to over £113.... lol
I've ordered one but am unsure if it's much of an upgrade from my EVGA 780 SC? Maybe I should hold off for something else? Want to use it with the Oculus quest.

Benchmarks suggest not for the 780. I can't find the 780 sc.
I've bought second hand XFX RX 570 4GB from Alieexpress. It arrived today, and it cost £52+£12 customs. Card is working as it should, only downside is that the fan profile setting is set too low but that is easily fixed.
Some people might be interested in this option.

I think they did say they would be supporting more graphics cards once the beta is over, I don't know if they would support the 780 though.
Excellent card for me, was a toss up between this and the 580 but as I'm already hitting my monitor refresh rate (75hz) in most games I'm happy to save the £20. The raise the game promotion got extended to the end of January so check if you can get a free game and gamepass out of it too
£149.95 now...
My order just arrived, just the retail box with a dispatch sticker on, box ripped and graphics card fixing thing on the end bent back. Immediately requested a replacement. What the hell is wrong with them not putting delicate electronics in a properly protecting outer box yet they'll send other non-fragile items in a massive box with loads of packing.
