The 5450 is an awful video card not much better than on board graphics'

To newbies thinking to upgrade do not bother with this.

Having said that it is not really a deal as it is about the going price for this card and if you look/wait you will get it slightly cheaper.
its a good (easiest) way to get hdmi out out and add audio (digital) to a N40l - as per the OP's requirements.

Avise is right, that is why i get this card. The fact that it is cheaper to run is also a plus point.

This is quite simply an amazing deal. £21.54 for, as the product description suggests, what is THE best gaming graphics available: "With DirectX 11 support you can play the latest HD games with unrivaled visual quality, astonishing realism and ultra-fast frame rates.". Can't believe I wasted £130 on a 560Ti.

GFX card manufacturers really push the boundaries in terms of false advertising.

P.S - Not a bad deal for what it really is.

Same spec but very slightly cheaper (not sure if there's any advantage to Sapphire over VTX3D). Perfectly decent HTPC card, in my case I simply gave up trying to get stable Intel drivers for the on chip graphics (i3 530) so just wanted a cheap as possible passive card with HDMI out.
Had a 5450 in my microserver since Feb and hasn't given me any problems at all. Running Ubuntu with XBMC.

Good answer. Not everyone needs a screamingly fast games rated card. Most people just want a reasonable display at a low price.
Excellent card for an HTPC but it would be useless for gaming. I’ve been using one in my shuttle HTPC for nearly a year now and its been fine, doesn’t run that hot either for a passively cooled card in a cramped case.
Hmmmm
Either this the 6450 or Nvidia 610 needed for playing 1080p MKV`s smoothly in a quad core PC
