Yes I know, it's out of stock and not a main stream seller so I don't expect it to get hot in here, but considering this card is £310-350 most places it's worth the wait as far as I'm concerned. Digital-fusion.co.uk seem to get good reviews as well.

The ETA is 3 weeks by which stage most of the large retailers will have similar prices. Hot regardless.

Rep added for giving me the head up

Best card you can buy right now so voted hot.......but surely when ATI have some next gen competition the prices will come down, also ATI cards still not PhysX compatible?

I voted hot, but no where near as hot as the price cuts on the 48xx that we will see soon-ish!

huh? this much for a graphics card, wow..........y'know it'll be £100 in 6 months or less, my advice - take a nap

Yeah I was going to wait for nvidia to throw a counter punch but looking around it seems they have major issues just making viable chips for debug before they can make the 300 series cards, only 1.7% of the hot lot of debug chips came out ok so gonna be a late Q1 early Q2 at best for them.

Well considering the Geforce 260s are still >£100 I CAN'T see that happening anytime soon.

Anyone wanting a single card solution are best to go for this 5 series.
1) speed
2) power consumption
3) DX11 on oct22

If you CAN wait, obviously get a 4870 or whatever as a stop gap....and wait for the green competition in the New Year......
