This card is only £100 more than the 5870, I know the performance isn't an amazing increase compared to the 5870 but for an extra £100 this is a really good price I think.

Buy a PS3!

Buy a PS3!

yep you have no idea mate, I would love to put this up against the same game on your ps3

i own 2 xbox's 360 , ps3 and pc (my beast ). you can't even compare consoles with desktop.when i play cod mw2 on pc or total empire on full specs on 40" screen, you can see what it is. pc rules !!!

PS3 is much better as it has its own controls & Screen.

But its twice the price of a PS3 or XBOX, can't possibly be twice as good;-)

more likely to buy the i7 core system for £440, cold

pc is the best thing, all games made on it. put AA and AF on max, you will now this directx 11
if you don't know what it means, not even worth explaining it to you.
PC rules the world.
like i said have 3 consoles.mainly using for fifa10.
that's it.

You noobs really have no idea. Good price for a 5970, quick search of Ebuyer and Scan shows these at £550+
This level of hardware is an aquired taste, yes. However, comparing it to a PS3 makes about as much sense as comparing your PS3 to Scrabble. And since when did PS3's come with their own screens? fail.

While this is a good price, Not so sure its really deal material. Out of stock with no ETA. If Amazon dont take payment untill dispatch and your not in a hurry tho, maybe. I'm still holding onto the faint glimmer of hope that Fermi pricing will get more agressive than release RRPs are suggesting (as lets face it, they arent 5*** series pwnage machines by any measure) and bring some competition back to the GPU market. ATi have had it all their own way for too long and its showing prices. :-(

WoW £414 lucky my hd4870 still able to play latest games at max res.

i agree buy a ps3.:-D

buy a ps1 ,Even cheaper

common people, it's very good price if you ready to pay these money

Crossfire FTW!

Considering the grotesque depreciation Graphics Cards have and that you can get a 2nd hand 4870 1gb for well under £100, bang for buck, this is pretty far from a "hotukdeal"
