A few years yet, I doubt the new consoles that are coming will have gpu's as good as this
how does warranty work through warehouse? can you still seek help from Sapphire?

Shame! Always miss out on these!

For some reason i was up and saw it but coldn't justify buying it to play esport games on my 1080p 144hz monitor. I think i need to upgrade that first since my gtx 1060 still handles that fine

I know the feeling well. Think I'm just bored and looking for something new to tinker with....

Yeah I got it lol. I kid you not, I was on amazon warehouse and I accidentally typed graphics card into the search bar (I was meant to type CPU but it was like 4am and I somehow made a mistake) and this just popped up in the corner of my vision. Complete fluke, bought it straight away as I'm doing a new build atm and have an XT, which is now getting returned as this is vastly superior and cheaper.

Every year PC gamers underestimate consoles. Just look at the PS4, it plays RD2 at 30fps, there wasn't a single PC in 2013 that could do that today - in other words the PS4 does something no PC at it's launch day could do. These consoles are seriously well optimised. Same thing happened for the x360 and PS2/gamecube/xbox era.

Expect the Scarlett to have one of these chips, 100% it'll be a modified XT or similar navi. It may even be Navi 2 which will be launched soon. It'll have less power draw but with optimisation it'll outperform the current XTs, I'd bet money on it. Happens every gen.

You're wrong the Xbox series X will be using 12TF Navi power and RDNA2 ray tracing. the 5700XT is 10tf so next gen consoles will be using hardware from amd that isn't even out yet.

And the price of the console is? I have heard there will be different levels of console?

Yup, same deal every gen man. PC gamers make the same mistake every time, and every gen the console is a hair above the high end cards from the year before. I think it's because PC gamers pride themselves on powerful hardware, to justify the cost, idk.

This is untrue, the gtx 1080 came out nearly a year and a half before the Xbox one x and PS4 Pro and both consoles didn't get anywhere near it unfortunately. I own the one x and pc, don't get me wrong the one x is great for what it is and I am hoping for great things from consoles this year, but highly doubt the console will get anywhere near the 2017 1080ti which still runs 95% of new games on 4k ultra above 60fps nevermind anything that came out in even 2018 like the 2080ti or last year (2019) the 2080 super, although I would love to see a good console

PS4 is equivalent to a 7850 modded, the 7850 launched at $449, the PS4 launched the following year (18 months later).

The PS5 is launching 18 months after Navi's release, I think there's a high probability the same will happen. The XT launched at $400, expect something slightly above the XT.

You may doubt it, but it's happened every generation. Of course, comparing the 1080 to the PS4 is meaningless, because the base PS4 (which the pro is based on) launched before that card. Lets use the GPU in the PS4 pro, same logic

The PS4 has an card equivalent to a 390x which launched...wait for it...17 months before the pro did, at $429 as an upper mid range card. (The PS4 has a 480 really, which for all intensive purposes performs the same as 390x, if not slightly beter).

Anyway, the last two console generations followed this trend. Actually, the last 3 did. The probability that we'll see a $400-$450 gpu equivalent from the previous year in Scarlett/PS5 is very high. In this case that's a slightly superior 5700 XT, which is indeed neck and neck with a 1080Ti. You'll see in a year anyway

I am hoping for good consoles and some news maybe late Feb/march, but if they can only match a 2017 1080 ti in performance I will be disappointed depending on the consoles prices of course
