I thought this was the regular price for this, might as well try and buy another 100 pound thing to get the remaining 25 off.

The launch price was about $410 but because of shortages a lot of retailers are overcharging at £420+.
I take back what i said about the coupon - seems to be working fine - just had to select the payment method properly! thanks!
Good price. Not seen this under £400 before.
Why will you buy this and not a 2070 super instead from Nvidia for £100.00 more and call of duty.
I just paid 409

Because most of the time the 2070 Super is way under 10% faster, one YT video I saw said it averaged 2% faster across their tests. You don't get a lot for that £100 really, do you?

Has no problem with drivers, heating has rtx cores, and a £40.00 game.
Plus you can resell it on a higher price anytime. Nvidia cards keep their value high for a longer time. For example 1080ti vs vega64

Drivers sure (although Nvidia is not exactly brilliant on drivers either), but heating is not an issue on aftermarket cards (the Sapphire Pulse listed here has excellent cooling) and RTX cores are not really worth the extra. No telling what resale values will be like in a year or two. None of that is worth all that extra money IMO.

I'm upgrading later this year and looking very carefully at all these these cards in the £400+ range.

Nice find but waiting for the Nitro+ to go down

There was a 2070 super msi at £450.00 just now

I know, I saw it. That is the sort of price it needs to be to make the 2070 Super reasonable value against the 5700XT. £400 vs £450 makes the 2070 Super very tempting, £400 vs £500 not so much.
Cheers being watching prices on these for my sons PC & waiting for sub £400. They have generally been around £430 + delivery so took the plunge and ordered.
Would this be a worthy upgrade from my pulse 56?
I bought the reference 5700 XT for £333 from Amazon. It was open box but effectively new when I checked it. The drivers are set to max the fan at 43% no matter how hot the car gets. If you tweak it manually you can keep the card around 80c under load. Having owned a vega 56 blower model, I can tell you they get hot and noisy, but I game with a headset so the noise isn't a problem for me.

I have a vega 56. Bought it for £185 new. To be honest the 5700 XT is probably about 20% faster, if you are already getting 100 FPS and over and game at 1080p then don't bother.

Only 1080p, 144hz freesync so probably not worth the upgrade. Cheers !

Yeah I wouldn't recommend spending the money on it. You won't see much value in your investment, probably be disappointed.

Still a good price but this comes to £411.36 with the code, not £396.

Can get the 5700 version for £361.37. Worth the £50 extra for the XT?

You saw a youtube video showing it to be '2%'? Mind linking that youtube video, I am pressing X to doubt.

Here's over 20 games compared at 2k resolution. 15% on the AIB, 9% on the reference.

It looks like the price went up to £436.36 which is reflected at the start of this thread, but the final price isn't still relevant as you don't get £40 off. Great deal for you anyway mate.

Don't have the links, Hardware Unboxed had the 2% score I mentioned although they updated it recently with a 37 game benchmark and to reflect Nvidia driver updates where there were some big boosts in a couple of games. In that test the 5700XT was 6% overall slower than the 2070 Super. There are written versions of their videos on Techspot.

Plenty of others like Gamers Nexus show the 5700XT as not a lot behind the 2070 Super most of the time, even ahead in a few games.

They're all reputable places, not some Youtuber with 48 subscribers.
