This won't be appreciated by most, because it's above RRP and I hate paying anywhere near RRP usually...but... this card is sold out EVERYWHERE at the moment, and for those into cryptocurrency mining it's a fantastic performer
or even if you're not and you're a gamer, you can set this to mine in your spare time and get a full return on your investment in 3 months. Basically a free card afterwards if you cash out your gains. The Vega 56 is even better at around 2.5 months ROI, but is also sold out everywhere across Europe
Won't post details, because google is a thing, and this is a deal's site not a mining talk site
I bought 2
10+ in stock according to OCUK so there should be plenty to go round

Happy hunting

What is this crazy "mining" business?!?

This should explain it, or confuse you more... Either way, you're welcome.

great card as well
comparable performance in gaming (actually V64 is just around GTX 1080)
but mining edge goes to vega

All i can find about the hash rate is 34.4 for etherium. Which is roughly £60 a month am i missing something?

It should do higher on Ethereum, YouTube will suggest around 44Mh/s on a lower wattage than the 1080’s but always take these things with a pinch of salt. However these cards are awesome on Monero (XMR) and if I had the cash, I’d buy 2 but it’s Xmas....

I'm afraid they are only limited to AMD processors

Should state that it is stand alone.

No, that's what you'd recommend as an alternative to Vega 56.
GTX 1080 is the alternative to Vega 64 and priced about the same.

Yes you're missing something
If you're still mining eth you're doing it wrong

Cold from me. Waffle about cryptocurrency mining aside (for which, it should be noted, your RoI will be heavily influenced by your electricity bills, if it's you who pays them), the 1080 is faster, better supported, and cheaper to run.

Standard cryptocurrency and tokens are based on a Block Chain ledger, mining solves mathematical puzzles in order to verify transaction records. It used to be worthwhile mining but if you pay for the electricity it isn't worth it. Not all of the 1300+ crypto currencies can be mined. The usual advice is don't bother mining or cloud mining, buying the actual currency will have made you way more money. For example the price of a single Bitcoin was around £800 near the start of this year, it's now worth £10,200 for a single coin at the time of writing this post, so it's quite obvious how much of an incredibly massive gain that is. The reason it's rising so much now is that people are putting money in to crypto hedge funds and this mass influx of money is making Bitcoin worth so much, the real killer is that Bitcoin whilst revolutionary when it was invented some 25+ years ago by computer scientists and released in 2009 by an unknown person or team, is that it's actually crap for the purpose intended. People will making an absolute killing if they pick the right crypto currencies to invest in and holding on to them. The problem is no one knows which to hold on to, this is all just the beginning.
