I would guess 5'10" 32in +/- an inch or so.

It's not the same bike it's lower spec and it was rated at £750...

I bought a trek 1.5 last year and just love it. only thing you really need to replace in the stock spec are some more puncture proof tyres.

paid the same price as op, but not for everyone as there's no home delivery for trek bikes.

That's a very good price. Shame Trek are so strict about deliveries.

The Trek is from 2013 and it would appear that its quite a plain frame with limited tube shaping, the 2014 model is more up to date. It may mean its a bit average, maybe the newer one is a bit lighter and more lively.. only going what I've read..

Not sure how compares to this Saracen one.

Thanks. Having seen a Tenet 1 for only £90 less with much lower spec but at over 250 degrees here a week ago, I'm surprised this isn't much hotter, maybe due to the retailer isn't as well known? Does look a very good price with all the Shimano spec. Haven't heard of Araya Rims, but still, at this price..

Araya rims have been around for years, my first Saracen Tufftrax in 1988 had Araya rims. The RM-17 & RM-20 were the ones to have a few years ago.

Heat Added.

I'm looking for the best XL road bike and all the deals never seem to have XL bikes.

Some decent spec for the money, especially the gears. Have some heat

Nice spec for the price. Good entry level road bike or as a winter trainer as it has the fittings for mudguards etc. I have an old Saracen Razor that has been turned into a hybrid with flat bars, at least 10 years old, riden plenty of miles on it.

How can a £450 bike be "entry level"?

Amazingly cheap isn't it.

How can a £450 bike be "entry level"?

How can £50 corsair cx be a basic psu, when you can buy '600w' for £15?

The point I'm making is that Tesco do bikes for about £60 on special offer, so only a bike snob would suggest that a £450 bike is "entry level".

But they're not really bikes are they - just a similar shape!

That is the Tenet 1 with claris gears, this is the Tenet 3 with Tiagra gears. Depends how much you want to spend.
