A heads up - I was just entering a comp on the telegrapgh website when I spotted this -

Train ticket provider, redspottedhanky.com is the new way to buy your train tickets online. The Telegraph has teamed up with the site to offer 10,000 readers of The Daily Telegraph a £10 e-voucher to use against the cost of their future train travel.

Redspottedhanky.com can help you travel by train for less. By booking in advance rather than at the station on the day, you can save, on average, 51 per cent. There are no booking fees, credit or debit card charges and they even offer loyalty points against the cost of future train travel booked with them.

To help you get away for even less, redspottedhanky.com are giving away 10,000 £10 train travel e-vouchers which you can use to go anywhere in Britain.

How to claim

Follow the instructions in the The Sunday Telegraph on Sunday, April 1, 2012 to receive your £10 e-voucher.

The offer is only available while our designated e-vouchers last, so ensure you are quick to act on the day.

Thanks, will come in handy.
thank you
Got this the last time, used it to make 3 short journeys. Thanks op.
looks good cheers
This is a good deal and I've voted hot. However, be aware that redspottedhankey mark-up the prices compared with going direct to your train company, e.g. East Coast.

You can also get 2x the value of your Tesco clubcard vouchers to use at redspottedhankey.

Using Redspottedhanky all the time to buy my rail tickets and they have certainly never marked up on either Cross Country or East Mids trains.

Going direct to EMT's website is usually a £1 cheaper on all their ticket prices.

It's true that often you can get special fares direct from the train companies, and it's definitely worth checking before you buy; however, I don't think it's strictly correct to say RedSpottedHanky mark up the prices - it's just that some (not all) train companies offer discounts on the standard price, which RedSpottedHanky can't offer.

They dont mark up prices against other sites , the only way you would get said tickets any cheaper would be if you were buying for an example a York - London East Coast ticket through East Coast only or a Paddington - Plymouth ticket through First Great Western and then it would be if that company decided to give you a small discount for buying ditrect through them .

I"ve bought many times through Red Spotted Hanky , very efficent ,tickets generally arrive within 48hrs and it"s very easy to change the dtaes when searching keeping times and routes the same to compare prices on different days.

Do you need to buy the paper? and is it new users only?
The link above will NOT work until saturday! if you register now there is no space for the code, so do wait for saturday to make a 'genuine' registration

I disagree.
Looking at the terms, you have to register - so new accounts only?
The wife tried to use RSH site today to book tickets, the site crashed on the payment page, she had to phone them in the end to see what the heck had happened, if it had gone thru or not. Not terribly reassuring.

Bad luck, rsh are great. No booking feed nonsesne like the rest and it seems that they genuinely try to offer the cheapest tickets.

"thetrainline" is a disgrace in comparison.
no use for trains to luton, off peak return is over £20 more, does RSH not allow groupsave discounts?
cool ty
Great thanks for posting OP

Hope I can get this!
I'm chuff-chuff-chuffed by this deal. (sorry).

I find virgin trains the cheapest for my journeys tbh
Ive always found it cheaper to book direct with East Coast for a trip between Leeds and London. Probably because they have an online discount of 10%.
