Save £129 when you buy Google Home & Philips Hue Starter Kit. Instore Only.
This offer applies to the E27 / GU10 / B22 Starter kits and is only valid instore. You can also get the free £5 voucher in store.

I have been on the phone to Maplin and they have advised me that the order needs to be placed in store as it doesn't seem to let me (you) do a Click and Collect at £169.00. Although I stand to be corrected on this.

Worth noting that, for example, the Starter Kit is the Philips Hue White & Colour Ambiance Starter Kit, which is £149.99 on it's own pretty much as the cheapest price, so even if you say the Google Home is £80 worth, then it makes the bulb kit £89.99 - which is quite a discount on both

I think it might be cheaper to buy a LED bulb and leave it turned on when you leave the house
I think that this is a hot deal? can't work out why its gone cold?
Pretty decent price if your after both. Would be cheaper to buy a led and leave it on but that wouldn't do what this does? May as well buy a used tissue

When the starter kit has been £89.99 and Google home is usually about the same price, it doesn't feel like anything to write home about. You're saving a tenner and having to shell out for both things at once.

I've got Hue bulbs in most rooms now and I wouldn't pay this.

When has the White & Colour Ambience starter kit been £89.99? It's not been under £120 on Amazon

I'm not sure you've got that right

Edit: Just found a previous HUKD listing....

hotukdeals.com/dea…044
This went scorching at £89.99 without the dimmer (which this has included)

HUKD Maths:

£89.99 Hue Kit (scorching), plus £89.99 Google Home (scorching) = £179.98

Hue Kit with dimmer, plus Google Home, for £9.99 less = cold.

Your mileage may vary, but I don't think the switch is worth a w**k and you have to spend twice as much at once and buy into the Google assistant system which may or may not be of use.

I can't be that far wrong, it's nearly -100 degrees.

Hmm cheers. This seems like a good deal
If you consider the cheapest price the bulbs have been plus the dimmer cost of 19.99, its essentially coseting you £50 for the Google Home which is awesome. Can anyone check my working?

Until you've actually used a Google Home or Echo you don't appreciate how much more convenient/enjoyable they are compared to what you are planning but do go ahead...

But Alexa is already built-in to Sonos One and Google Assistant is coming later this year via a software update. I think @Rkp should just go ahead and buy Sonos One, so you get both excellent sound and convenience of both assistants.
