Great price if i hadnt already got 8gb i would of snapped this up.

Got to laugh at those heatsinks.

looks great if you want to build yourself a PC or upgrade your current system!

...or if you want to comb your hair.

Me too. 4 bays, filled with 4x2
had a little disagreement with Novatech, was going to stop buying from them, as I did with eBuyer for their dispatch tardiness (5 days delivery which included TWO weekends, and their disgusting sneeriness in attitude) but frankly, they're very good.

Paid £90 for these at the beginning of the year - can't believe how much they've fallen already - great price!

Novatech are a pretty poor seller in my experience. They deliver items in very damaged packaging.

ocuk got these at £66. last i looked

Added to my basket and they were in stock, on payment they had none in stock, est del = 25/06/11

I have 4 x 2gb too, I'd prefer a pair of 4gb sticks now though

part number is for 12gb kit (4gb x 3 dimms)

Not very good I think i'll pass on this now!

This a cracking price, closest I've seen is 8gb Mushkin at a lower speed for a higher price.

20% Vat on the £51.65 is £10.33 not £12.13.

I also included in the first comment that there is a free delivery code

"For free next working day delivery in the UK ensure you use the following code at checkout: FREEDEL11"

They're charging VAT on the delivery too.

Even if you use the free delivery code?

So this is 8b of RAM for £60 - so you'd have a rapid computer - but is there anything special about this particular one? Thanks

It's decent Ram, half decent speed, good company in Corsair, probably low latency as well.

Tempted but atm still dont see the need in an upgrade over my current oldish system (q9650, gtx 295, 8gb ddr2 1066mhz) the only games its struggled with at 1920x1200 reso and settings high is GTA Episodes from Liberty and Saints Row 2 and I think they were just bad ports. Think xmas will be the time for the upgrade for games like Battlefield 3 and Skyrim looking at the gfx's of those 2.

£7 surcharge to delever to Aberdeen
For a small package? Rip-off merchants.
**FREEDEL11** avoids surcharge !

Check your motherboard layout and heatsink clearance before you buy RAM like this. It may not fit because of the height of the RAM.

Well, VAT on nothing is nothing.

I know and I realised in my original post that I didn't make it clear enough for everyone that there was a free delivery code for people to use so I edited it.

I have these, Fantastic ram with thin heatsink so you can easily put next to each other for 16gb+ etc

Was OOS when I ordered but have just had a dispatch e-mail, thanks to the OP.

Quidco tracked at £1.85 too.

Hmm... I have these at the mo :
Patriot Viper II Sector 5 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C8 1600MHz Dual Channel Kit
1600MHz RAM Speed, CAS 8-8-8-24 Timings, 1.6-1.7v VDIMM

I wonder if I could use both, even though they have different voltages, and get 12GB
Anyone tried running ddr3 with different voltage ratings ?

Why not just buy them and sell your patriot,8gb is more than enough and its not wise to mix diff makes of memory as you will run into problems due to diff voltages and timings.

Think there might be a problem with free delivery depending where you are located, i have tried everything but cant get the delivery code to work and i am in Scotland too.

Brilliant deal, but with so many deals that's already happened this month, I've darn gone and prematurely spent my load...

A must for art deco pc enthusiasts

I was gonne buy these from scan while back , but wanted F.O. Heatsink
Glad I went with normal height DIMMS
Trucking at 25/26/27/24 degs CPU core now

COCO

I have the 2x 2gb sticks. Great Ram and good for overclock. But one thing to note is depending on your motherboard layout and the size of you CPU heat sink there could be a problem with clearance due to the heatspreader. I have P8P67 Vanilla with Artic Rev 2 and it just fits. Hot deal

Was debating about getting this or 2 x 2gb sticks of cl7 ram. Decided to bite the bullet and ordered this. Seems like a hot deal

Ordered 2/8 parts bought for my new rig.

Excellent ram, had it about a month now payed a tenner more from Scan on a deal of the day but I got the C8 version. This is the C9 version, try grab the C8 version like I have if you plan on a new sandybridge build. Not much difference in them though just timings.. hot stuff and nice find.

I am returning mine to ebuyer using the Distance Selling Regulations (got them 2 days ago), saying I just changed my mind, and getting these from Novatech 30 quid makes a difference, thanks OP!!!

Shizzle that's a good price.
