Any standout sale games on US store @joeydeacon ? Heat +

The Capcom sale is good through to tomorrow, but I’d hold off as I reckon a summer sale of sorts is on the horizon
Royds08/07/2019 21:44

Hopefully we get a UK summer sale this week

Yeah we will get 1% sale off

UK sales aren't bad, look on twitter and Facebook and the USA and Canadian folk get all salty thinking the UK and the rest of Europe get better sales with more selection than they do. Still for me Indonesia is the go to store but I still buy from UK sales and always take advantage of USA flash sales too.

Fingers crossed for something akin to the Days of Play sale. It was pretty great, and all the better with cheap credit

again? i'm just stockpilling this, nothing in sales to buy :P
Can’t seem to use pcgamesupply anymore! Won’t let me login!
Cheers Joey, now I can pretend I'm getting free games when a decent sale pops up
I've made one order before so I've already verified my phone number, how long are subsequent orders usually stuck on pending?

Edit: It just got cancelled, weird. Does that happen a lot?

I've had it happen on my first few transactions with them when using Revolut and my regular card. Found only Paypal worked at first, but they don't accept Paypal for these offers usually. Have no hassle paying with normal credit card now as I think after a couple of orders they eventually trust you enough to take your money

Think they're having issues - had my order cancelled with 2 different cards. Customer Service say technical error their end and to try again in 2-4 hours. Still a bit of a joke as they now have 2 lots of the money and are saying 3-5 days for refund.
Nice one. I bought a 10 USD card from these guys a couple of months ago and there were a few layers of security and authentication to get through. Nothing too strenuous really, and worth it for being able to get hold of US credit. This time was my second purchase and it took less than a minute for the code to be sent through after a successful Visa payment.
Every time I try to order it get voided, is there a work around anyone knows?
Not working - tried two different cards (Monzo/Revolut) on two different accounts, both have got voided. Thankfully it doesn't get processed on the Monzo account (money stays/returned immediately) but Revolut will show as pending for the next few days.

What type of card are you using?
archfiend09/07/2019 19:31

Just a standard Lloyd's visa

I've used Natwest, Lloyds, HSBC, Starling and N26 cards without error - are you sat behind a VPN of sorts by any chance?

Have you tried any other cards other than those two virtual type MasterCards?

No, but I have been trying on my phone using my data. I'll try on the laptop and see how that plays out
tried Starling/N26, voided too. across phone/tablet/laptop. even on a US VPN just to try something different in case being from the UK was the issue.. but no luck. would use NatWest but with their currency conversion + transaction fee on my account it wouldn't be worth it.

Perfect worked for me using my nationwide credit card.

Just deleted my comment in error. Try again. Have you tried simply paying in GBP rather than USD? I do that with NatWest cards without issue, I can see why you may be doing that but the saving here will be minimal - in fact just checked Revolut for example and the cost would equate to £6.41 here if using the card to pay in USD
I mean what's the point though it's not gonna be able to credit to our uk psn store wallets seeing as it's a us psn gift card
This is adding to the basket at the full $10 for me now. An error on their end or has the discount ended?

The point is you buy with a US account from the US store which is often cheaper, especially during sales.

The point is games are invariably cheaper on the US store.
I managed to grab one last night, it's a pity it was for one transaction only otherwise I would've got five of them so I don't blame them.
