The Candy 10kg washing machine looks outstanding, and is designed to suit any kitchen setting. It comes complete with Smart Touch technology which offers a clever solution that works as simply as a contactless payment system. By using an android smartphone you can control, monitor and manage the appliance via your mobile device through the Candy Simply-Fi app. With a spin speed of 1400rpm and a capacity of 10kg, the GVS1410DC3 is a perfect family sized washing machine. It uses intelligent sensor technology to weigh the laundry during the first 4 minutes of the cycle, then adjusts the cycle time, water and electricity consumption to suit the size of the load.
Awarded an A+++ energy rating this washing machine is extremely energy efficient and A rated in wash performance and A in spin. This washing machine is great for saving you money on your bills, considerate of the environment, as well as excellent at taking care of your clothes.

Personally I would avoid Hoover/Candy. Ours has been nothing but trouble from the word go. It's had new control modules, motors, pumps and god knows what else. It's only had light use and a year where it was used even less! Fortunately, we had a warranty agreement under which we are now requesting a replacement as the motor spectacularly gave up again.

That's a shame, I have a really old (about 8yrs) Candy Tumble Dryer that I use daily for dog blankets & it's never had a problem, the zanussi one I bought 14mths ago for normal family use packed up last mth 3 weeks out of warranty
Hoover/Candy - no thanks! Poor reliability.

If you're going for a budget machine you can't beat BEKO. If you can go mid-market there are plenty of Bosch machines to choose from.

Check Which? if you can.
I’d never have a candy again, bought one just over a year ago and it’s shocking. Good luck
I have this washing machine from Argos it arrived dented and the holding bolts to the drum was near impossible to take out . But got them out in the end. Has it was damaged there sending me a new one out . Luckily I only paid 199 for it when it was on offer. took out the warrant so should be OK. Its worked fine since it arrived a mouth ago

That's why I took the three year's insurance... Should last with the ten year parts also inculded
Are hoover and candy machines any good? I hear from friends, avoid...

I have never bought a Hoover product since their 1992 free flights fiasco. Some of us have long memories and never forget being ripped off!
Had a Candy for 14 years. Still going strong and it's only because I'm remodelling the utility room and am going from built-in to freestanding that I need to change it.
Avoid this brand or buy expanded warranty.

10 years part free only valid if you pay for a Hoover/Candy engineer £129.00 x call out
I have a Hoover washing machine, the brushes went on the motor after just 12 months. I've replaced them myself 3 times now, as oscarangelbaro said, the warrant is on the parts, which in this case I can get for £7 off eBay and not pay the £100+ call out, although it's a nightmare to get to the back of our washing machine, so it's a horrible job. I wouldn't buy another one unless it had a brushless motor!
