£719 for the WiFi only 512gb space grey iPad Pro 10.5”.

Seems likea good reduction considering Apple are notoriously stingy with reducing their prices.

Cheers.

Oh the irony of having 500 gigs of storage in a device without real file management or support for external storage. Good deal nonetheless if you’re after the Pro.

To be factual it does support External storage not direct attach but via other means example wi-fi

This price is for the 256gb model. It’s £50 cheaper not £250

That’s not much use in a ‘Pro’ device. I’ve tried those before and they were rubbish - they require additional apps, don’t show up automatically in Files app, you can’t be connected to internet and hard drive at the same time, WiFi configuration was very fiddly as well, you have to remember to charge the hard drive or WiFi doesn’t work, and the transfer rate is actually pretty rubbish.

I can accept that in the 339 standard iPad, but the iPad Pro should have a proper USB drive support.

These are "FEATURES", not bugs or lack of flexibility; making it difficult gives you a sense of achievement when you finally manage to move a few files.

Besides, you were probably holding it wrong.

You can actually get the 256gb version from very for approximately £615.20 at the moment. Buy now, pay later, 20% off. You can pay it off over a year without incurring any interest but be warned that the interest is extraordinarily high if you go above the year. It's always worked really well for me - I've never had any issues with being credited the 20% - but some people have other viewpoints on very's BNPL deals.

How long is the warranty on very? John Lewis is 2 years.

If it's not DOA then iPads pretty much run forever (well until) 2or 3 new product launches and then the new operating system slows you down massively and you know it's time to trade .
