You're only saving money on what was a ridiculously expensive deal to begin with. A deal was posted recently with 5GB of data and 125 up front and went cold.
Heated. I’m an iPhone user but I think this is a great deal because it’s not far off the price of handset only and 4GB is a decent amount of data with Wi-fi everywhere now. Might want to put which network as know some have promos where some streaming services don’t use your data too.
Heat added. Cheap deal

Thanks, knew I'd forgotten something!

Its the same price as the S5 deal of a few years back so its a good deal
Awesome deal for the best phone available.
£748 total contract price isn't really a good deal to me. The S8 can be bought for sub £500 now so you're paying a lot just for the contract

Feel free to post better........
Even if the phone is available for £500 (not in UK it's not) you're basically left with £10 a month for a contract which the best you can get for that price is the 5gb Plusnet deal.

So maybe you can just about break even on this deal but that involves a £500+ upfront payment

I'd be curious if there was a better deal than this?

I'd be very surprised and if there is it will by only a few pounds.

Paying £8 per month here at virgin for the same amount of everything (4GB, unltd everything else) so to me it would be paying more.. the S8 is about £460 at places like eglobalcentral so it's a saving
Not a bad deal at all.

Phones from eglobalcentral are not UK specification and have a snapdragon quad core CPU so not a correct comparison.

For a EU phone this is a good deal.

How can you compare a phone with virtually no warranty to one with a full 2 year UK warranty? You may as well say they are cheaper on eBay or Gumtree etc.

Unless you can find a UK company selling the phone for less than £500 this looks a good deal
Just buy it outright and go sim only.

This isn't saving money.
I got my mines 2 days before release on eBay for £530 brand new. No one can match it even now months into release.

Better than being stuck on Three for 2 years - that was the first thing I thought when I saw the 4GB tariff at £27

I guess if you're prone to breaking your phone and like being stuck with the same phone for 2 years then sure this is an okay deal. Personally always go sim free though - selling the phone after a year is better from a price point than after two years
Site isn t working, gets stuck at the payment stage. Anyone had the same problem?
Hot ...if you don't need as much data, on mobiles.co.uk, O2 are doing 3GB a month for £25 less up front, plus you get a free VR with it, maybe of interest to someone?

mobiles.co.uk/sam…asc

Edit: See hotukdeals.com/dea…277 code for a further £25 off up front cost too, 25OFFMOB...£698 in total, decent!

Never Ever from Vodafone UK ever again...Sorry cold due to their awful customer service
Unless I'm being dim, there's no option to get anything similar for the S8 Plus with this deal? This definitely seems like a good deal for the S8 and I'm still tempted.

Do they?
I have dual SIM one is on Vodafone the other on O2, the signal strength is always different. If I'm out of coverage on Vodafone, then I can use O2, hence the dual SIMs
Cold! Put the price in the title first, not what you save.
Can anyone please advise of the cheapest but best option to buy the s8 outright, thanks

They do. It was pointed out to me that although they share masts, the networks still independently process the onward connection. It should mean that there is no difference in signal strength between the 2 but there may still be differences caused by the onward processing. You may happen to live in 1 of the last areas being joined up but if you want dual SIM for wider coverage, you shouldn't use o2 with Vodafone.

Amazon Germany if you want new, around £490. Amazon Italy warehouse deal for like new.
Thanks for the quick reply!
Is it not a hassle tho buying off non UK website if warranty is needed or any problems crop up?
Was that £490 for new?
Yes, £490 new. Being europe and Amazon means you are covered for warranty. Only issue will be European 2 pin plug. You can purchase using your Amazon UK login details.

Thank you very much for the info, very helpful!
Not a big fan of Vodafone but Sky sports mobile for a fiver is very tempting.
