Get the Aviva deal, save 50% on home insurance when you buy online

Available to new customers, who have been claim free for at least five years on their existing home insurance policy.

Also, possible £45 cashback from quidco: quidco.com/avi…ce/

I just saved £75 on my renewal, in addition to the possibility of cashback. Figured I would share.

Deal expires 29 February 2012.

Couldn't provide an online quote due to not having window locks on my double glazing (which you don't find out until you have filled in almost all of the forms)

It didn't even ask me that question TBH. It must be a question contingent on some earlier answer.

No idea if it'll be the same but AVIVA took 9Mths to honour the £70 Quidco payback - but I did get it,
Get the 'Aviva Deal' not, I got stiffed wasting five years of my life working for these muppets (Norwich Union) back then. Indian call centres manned with staff who don't give a hoot about CS! It took me 100 odd phonecalls to get my car fixed after the car was broken into and the interior trashed. They sent it off to a local company who sent it back two weeks later without doing any work because they were a body shop only! You'd do well to avoid!
Try Legal & General, get £50.50 Top Cashback and £60 M&S vouchers if you take out home contents and buildings insurance - add code ME12, all in all insurance cost me £35!!!
