If you can find stock instore theres a 1000mbps one at half price for 20£.bought the last one yesterday from Kingston tesco in Milton Keynes
Has anyone seen any offers on the av600 with wifi?
Useful for those who are now working from home with a PC base unit.
Note with this that if your plug socket is low this might not fit because the plug pins are at the top

Ive got something similar, the devolo dlan 500 wifi starter kit, which is pretty decent. Remember that these will link with other powerline branded plugs too, you don't have to get the same brand.
They are currently £34.99 on amazon.

The archer c50 going for £25 if you get any.
I need to extend my wifi range to reach the garage. I've read that the extenders degrade your signal so I've discounted them. I'm trying to decide between a cheap mesh system or a powerline with wifi.

It's for my folks so doesn't need lightening performance, just to be reliable. Having the option to run wired connections for the tv has me leaning towards the powerline option.

Those look pretty good - are they better than the equivalent TP link offering? The only powerline stuff I know are those 2!

Don't use wi-fi extenders, they have to relay each network packet, so your speed will have at least, using those.
I have my cat6 going into my garage, and then use have armoured power cable going from there to my shed, so I connect those two with the Powerline as I needed WiFi in there for my ESP32 sensors. I also have armoured cable leaving that she'd along the ground and then up a 7 meter pole that has 2 4mp cameras on. They use Powerline too, and there's plenty of bandwidth for both cameras.
So the moral is, if you can cable with cat5/6 etc, that's the best, then Powerline, the WiFi extenders as a last resort.

I already have 2 unbranded powerlines running in my house (ebuyer 10+ years old still solid), but i need a new access point in one of the bedrooms, and also need to boost the wifi upstairs. Is this what I'm looking for? I was going to just buy a pair like the one in this OP and then repurpose an old BT homehub as an access point. What you think? Thx.

It should work but for similar cost this would be neater and faster solution

If yours are 10 years old make sure they are compatible with Homeplug AV and Homeplug AV2 standard otherwise any of these won't work, as that's the modern standard they all use (except for Devolo Magic range)
