I've not heard of this card, although I do qualify. Is it worth signing up and paying the money?

I’ve had a blue light card for years. Works pretty well and you do get discounts at quite a few providers and retailers. I think it’s worth it. And his deal is good too.

Definitely worth it. It's only £5 for 5 years I think
1.25p/l for diesel where I fill up.
Petrol 116.7 at asda
How do I get a blue light card,I deliver food.....people would starve to death if I didn’t do my job.
Mmm I don't have a Blue Light Card, but I've got my military ID + Defence Discount Card. Think I shall have to inquire at my local Esso regarding this. Cheers op

Just type esso into the search bar, for me it was the last displayed result.
There is nowhere for me to put in the BLC reference when I attempt to sign up, anyone mange to get round this?
Has anyone with a Blue Light cars applied and received anything from Esso yet? We applied in December, still no card. Looks like the deal is no longer on Blue Light too
I received my card about a week ago
Got mine but so far every week I’ve received for my “special price” it’s still been more expensive than my local Tesco’s fuel price wise
Has the deal expired?

Has the deal expired?

I can’t see it on blc anymore
I just got my card in the last week after a month of waiting.

I'm not entirely certain how it works but my understanding was that I would save money on fuel?

Well, I'm totally confused because the rate I was sent by text at the beginning of the week was £1.183 for unleaded but my local Esso garage is currently displaying less than that.

When I first applied, I thought I would receive a discount off whatever the forecourt price was but this seems about as clear as mud.

I mean what is the actual rate you're supposed to get? :/

There’s some info on the caravan club forums (ran the deal before blue-light) You get the rate they say unless forecourt price is more. If forecourt price is more you save 1p a litre from the forecourt price.
Irrelevant for me, been waiting well over a month and no card still

I've just sent BLC a message because the discount isn't very clear and by the sounds of it not much of a good deal.

All my the Esso garages in a 20 mile radius of my home are currently cheaper than the weekly rate I was text.

So I don't see how this card saves you any money at all.

In fact, the cheapest fuel to me is Asda

I have recieved my card and it is indeed discounted, the only thing i cant find out now is the weekly price as it has disappeared from the blue light website. Any one know where i can see the weekly prices?

I get them via a text every Friday so assume you need to register a phone number with them to get the prices, tbh I’ve had it for a month now and I’m still yet to see the price drop below what’s a standard price at local Tesco’s...
