Yes they're expensive, but they're awesome and if you're looking at starting or expanding your SONOS collection then this is a great deal!

RRP list...
SONOS Playbar: £599
SONOS Play 1: £169 each
Total package: £937

Current Price:
SONOS Playbar + 2 x Play1: £865
Saving £72 (around 7%)

Good deal if buying already - quite a few in the range have been reduced a bit so perhaps they're bringing out new models soon (like the Play5), but not sure.

FYI: still at the higher price at SONOS.com. JohnLewis usually price match (and have done for Play1) but Playbar isn't on their site.

Also available for the same price at:
Currys/PCWorld + 1.5% Quidco cashback
RicherSounds + 3% Quidco for all in-store sales (expires in 3 days) MUST BE ACTIVATED

Not quite sure why cold?!

Because they are hugely expensive and moderately crap. Trying to make a sound 'system' out of separate wireless speakers is a silly idea.

You can get a fully featured AV receiver with a decent set of 5.1 speakers for that kind of money.

I have an AV and 5.1 which is pretty good, but ease, space and wires wise I'm saving for the playbar etc. Having stayed with friends who have it it's brilliant (unless you're an audiophile connoisseur!)

Don't get drawn into it, you are wasting your time. The same guff gets spouted in nearly every Sonos deal, seems some people like to ignore the fact that not everyone wants their lounge looking like this:
