Save up to 10p off fuel - potentially £1.19p per litre for unleaded @ Shell

Just filled up from a Shell petrol station and noticed this offer. Unleaded petrol was £1.29 a litre but I could have had it for £1.19p if I bought the qualifying products.

Fuel costs are a rip off at the moment and the costs of products in the fuel stations are normally extortionately priced but Shell don't seem to be as bad as others and every penny counts I suppose. You can stack up the 2p off each product to give you a maximum of 10p off.

Products included in the offer: Red Bull 250ml 4 Pack / Ferrero T24 / Lindor Cornet 200g / Pringles 190g Tubes / Kettle 150g Packs / Coke 2 Litre Bottles / Energizer Hi Tec / Screenwash 3 Litre / Carlsberg 500ml 4 pack.

thanks

so you have to buy 5 products to get 10p a litre? seems like you have to spend alot of money to get the money off, if so it doesn't seem like a good deal considering you could get the items much cheaper in a supermarket...

How about diesel?

It's 2p per product and it may help people who do buy stuff from the petrol stations because of it being abit more covnvenient

How about diesel?

It's for all fuel types.

It would probably end up costing more than you would save oO

COLD!

hardly luke-warm of a deal. You potentially have to spend about £10 to get just over £1 off.
It's like their shell drivers club card - you need to spend £1000 on fuel to get £10 off - WHAT A JOKE !

voted cold

I agree with this.

more hassle having the card in your wallet than its worth.

Recall BP running a similar deal, save 10p a litre if you spend something like a fiver in the shop. This is a good deal if you really need the product, and there is no difference in pricing compared to a supermarket

Lots of cars take 50 - 60 litres. So if you buy all products discount is more like £5-6 so not £1 as someone else described.

It's not a bad deal - You'll often find if there's a supermarket near a Shell petrol station - Shell price match. If you can get the discount all the better - a while ago I saved 5p a litre by buying tuna fish at tesco and I hate the stuff!

Agreed! I've voted the deal hot!

The products cost you a lot more in the 1st place though and i bet you could easily overpay by £5-£6 on just them. Isn't coke about £2.50 in a shell station.

you have to shell out a lot to get this deal

WASTE OF TIME
COLD FROM ME

I always pick up a shell card. They come in very handy as emergency ice-scrapers.
