Lumie Bodyclock is the original wake-up light, also called a dawn simulator. It wakes you gradually with increasing natural light. This is a signal for your body to ease production of sleep hormones (e.g. melatonin) and increase those that help you get up and go (e.g. cortisol). Wake-up lights help to keep your sleep cycle on track, boosting mood, energy and productivity levels all day.

Bargain at this price. The wife paid around £80 years ago and still going strong
Best price I’ve seen for these! Mine (an Active 250) loses time slightly, but it was second-hand. Still wouldn’t be without it, especially as the mornings get darker
Just get a baby, very good at waking you up multiple times during the night
I got a Xiaomi Yeelight bulb and it does the same job for £10.
this seems pretty cool. first time hearing about it and am tempted to try

They work, I’ve had one for years and they definitely help if you suffer from SAD. They were more like £100 4 or 5 years ago.
Seems they're getting rid of old stock now that Lumie has updated the design. Features are the same but the new one has touch sensitive buttons and uses LEDs instead of Halogen bulb
Are any of these able to automatically turn off on weekends?

You have to set the alarm every evening so at the weekend I just do a later time. They aren’t the most intuitive to use but you get used to doing it. I wouldn’t be without mine now.

Paid 60 about 5 years ago and it's been great, it wakens me up very slowly, it really makes a difference. You can hold the + button whenever you want to turn the really bright light on so it acts like a bedside lamp as well. Only thing I don't like is the buttons are very loud when pressed, but that's about it.
