Aldi and Lidl sell them for 29p
whenever i see paracetamol now, it always brings back memories of the bad times. i think i will have this image now for the rest of my life. paracetamol to me, will never be the same again ;(
Tesco is a total rip off; these were 15p there 2 years ago and gradually crept up to about 35p pre-Covid. Similarly at their pharmacy which has also hiked the price of larger packs.
Try Poundland or Home bargains both my local stores have had a ton of it in and are cheaper than supermarkets which mainly sell them for £3. Home bargains also started selling Fabulosa All In One disinfectant mist spray similar to the dettol one for £1.69.
Just meant they smell fake/chemically. Yeah doesn't read well now I look at it.
Not a suitable comment IMO.
I am sorry about your experience..;( ;(
Hey @OliverHound welcome to hotukdeals! ..and thanks for posting your first deal! Well Done! (y)
Sweet and vanilla smelling. Alright if that's your thing.
Is this nice?
£5 in superdrug to
These are 99p everywhere late autumn, throughout winter, and in early spring. Then it hits me, late spring, itchy eyes and a runny nose. I head down the shops and it’s £1.99.
Pack of 14
79p in home bargains :)
Also at Poundland for £1
To be fair this is their normal price but good to share.
If you lived here, you'd wish it was (lol)
Delicious flavour and kills Coronavirus too
Well it's litre not liter. ;)
No United Kingdom
This looks exactly like the King C Gillette one which is also made by Braun https://www.gillette.co.uk/kingcgillette/beard-trimmer.list
Ordered. Some great reviews for this so will give it a wizz. Heat added. At last clippers that are in stock
Same price at Superdrug with instore delivery option. https://www.superdrug.com/Electricals/Male-Grooming-Electricals/Mens-Shavers/Braun-Styling-Multi-Grooming-Kit-MGK3020/p/728379
Do they sell Astral?
bought the same one at sainsburys the other week for £5 something
Thought it would've been a wee bit cheaper, just a few price updates if anyone's wondering. I'll pick up a tub from Savers when I'm back home (highfive)
HB have some great prices and thee large tubs are great value if you use a lot of it. Unfortunately my nearest HB is 15 miles away.
Home Bargains has this tub for £4.49, nearly bought this for my mum yesterday (after queuing :S ). The 75ml tube was £1.29 in there, used to get it in pound shops not so long ago! (Poundland now sells 50ml tubs for £1).
I keep saying it ! Our 2 small Boot's are full of it ! (Same price) But sometimes you have to ask at counter for it.... maxmix
exactly! i was confused too
Don't get why this is so cold :/ hand sanitizer itself is gold dust at the minute. I haven't had my hands on any for last couple of weeks. Voted hot :)
Trongate, Glasgow has loads (as of yesterday afternoon) :)
Now available at B&M in Peterborough. Just purchased 2 bottles.
I was going to buy a couple of this for presents for my friend's daughters as I find it hilarious. Unfortunately, there weren't any at the Sutton Savers. :(
Think of all the poor unicorns they had to milk to make this a product..
Stop hoarding handwash!!! You dont need it.
Wow! Does it come with the crushed velvet pillow? This really is magic.
Made of powdered unicorn?
£1 for 500ml in local co-op or same in supermarket (y)
Yup any soap will do. https://www.thelocal.de/20200402/how-german-scientists-hope-to-find-answers-on-coronavirus-in-countrys-worst-hit-spot German scientists however can't find the virus: Streeck added: "We were in a household where many highly infectious people lived, and yet we did not manage to detect a living virus from any surface."
About the cost of a bar of soap.
Think of it this way.....how much to avoid getting SARS?
Pointless exercise. Added a Dettol spray to basket and some hand wash, went to add some toiletries and of course the Dettol and hand wash removed from basket as sold out. Site should allow to reserve items for 10 mins or so (mad)
The CDC say 60% ethanol or 70% isopropanol, with most alcohol based hand gels I've seen using ethanol as a base. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/infection-control/hcp-hand-sanitizer.html
In other words, if someone is unfortunately forced to use the bus or tube due to essential travel, having a working alternative to 'hot soap and water' is perhaps useful...
The bottle says no alcohol
I believe there are other chemicals which can be used which are effective. I'm not an expert on infection control so may be wrong. https://www.ecdc.europa.eu/sites/default/files/documents/novel-coronavirus-guidance-environmental-cleaning-non-healthcare-facilities.pdf
Looks like I can sell pieces of tur* in hand sanitizer bottle these days... Would sell like hot cakes.... People are going crazy these days. I am a medical professional and can confirm that this isn't what you need... Anything over 70% alcohol only do something against Covid
These do relive flu symptoms I always take when have a cold
I only use this, I find it amazing. As noted above you should use a shaving brush which gives a great lather. But if I'm being very lazy ill just lather it up straight on my face. I've been using this for a few years and fine it's the best for me. Heat
Just to note for folks, when you use a real shaving cream, not the Gillette cans etc. You usually use a shaving brush to lather it up when on your face, and using anything more than a pea size amount is too much. (y)
Ye I wasnt a fan it didnt sooth me after in fact it felt really dry on my skin and hands and left a slight stinging like cool feeling had to put loads of after balm on and cleanse my face like 3 times that day... not a fan at all got 97% left as didnt use a second time only keeping it for emergency..
Standard price £1.29 Offer price usually £1 every 2-3 months. B&M price also £1 when available. Cold.
The king of shaves gel next to it is much better.
Noticed this last night too - Savers website seems to be offline - not sure when it will reappear. Stores are still open, just been in one to buy Victory Vs and other personal care items :) Honestly thought Lionel Richie Hello fragrance was just some sort of Superdrug/Savers perfume, but it's on Fragrantica and was released in the US in 2019. There's a For Men version too. I absolutely hate cheesy ballads but I am happy to buy perfumes if they smell nice and I ignore the person/inspiration.
Unfortunately, the direct link in the Deal post doesn't work properly (the affiliate mucks up the link) but you can use "eternity" as a search term and you'll see this item. This perfume, on the Savers Mother's Day leaflet, made me and my sister chuckle (as we remember the song)!
Just some feedback for anyone interested - I've only ever tried Bach Rescue Remedy Pastilles before now (and they really helped me with anxiety/panic attacks). When I posted this Deal I purchased Bach Rescue Remedy Night and "regular" Rescue Remedy, both in bottle + dropper form. Weirdly, I find the Night version doesn't give me much relief at all, but the ordinary version works well.
Thanks for posting this, haven't seen this product before. Ordered for my dad who struggles with insomnia. It's good that it's not based on lavender scents which a lot of the natural products have but he really dislikes. Managed to get the 20ml sleep spray for £5.34 on Amazon S/S. May get some myself if he finds it helps.
This is not for me, but heaven's above, what a peculiar comment.
Bought more earlier, just in case :S (though, as Jon Ronson said on the TV last night, people with anxiety have been catastrophising all their lives so they're usually prepared for the worst - he said he feels strangely calm at the moment).
excellent post @louiselouise (y)
Yep, standard price/more expensive than some other discount stores.
Voted cold Normal price and don’t want every rrp anti bacterial product in every store listed on here
Anti bacterial. Does it affect viruses?
literally sold in every 99p shop going. good stuff though
It probably is, though I've not seen this product before. Also, the post is a heads up for stock because people are panic buying, and are emptying the shelves of anything anti bacterial. I don't have a Home Bargains/Wilko or B&M near me, it wouldn't be cost effective to travel to one.
Do you have a link to the 60% one?
Just wash your hands , you freaks!
The other simple way to tell that it must be below 50% concentration is that in the ingredients list Aqua (water) comes before the alcohol. For there to be any chance that sanitiser has greater than 50% concentration the alcohol must be the first ingredient on the list.
Comes in and out quite frequently so keep checking
Much stronger with an all round flavour! Only had the brown lidded one once, since they brought the red one out. Could hardly finish it!
You sure can taste the difference. Don't you think so (y)
Not sure I've ever tried the Red lid ones. If I see them on offer I'll get one and give it a go then pass it to hubby for work if I dont like it ;)
Thanx Dizzy, to be honest I dont like the stuff lol but I buy it for hubby to take to work ;) I Much prefer Kenco Really Rich or one of the Alta Ricca ones when they're on offer.
Great spot op. Heat added
