About Us

The Savile Row Company is based in the heart of Savile Row and has been making finely tailored shirts since 1938. A family company of medium size, Savile Row now designs and produces an extensive range of clothing and accessories for Men and Women - all crafted to the highest standard of quality and workmanship. The Savile Row Company brand is sold in over 30 countries worldwide.

The company initially manufactured and provided quality clothes to many famous London department stores. Sadly, the factory was completely destroyed during the Blitz. Yet, only a year after the War ended, the business was re-started with a new focus on men’s wear. We moved our manufacturing over to Northern Ireland and enjoyed even greater success, continuing to supply large, countrywide chain stores, independent retailers as well as individual firms established and operating on Savile Row.

be warned people these are £9 shirts. Yes £9 is okay for a shirt but where they get the £50 from I will never know. Please also note this is not the London road it is affiliated with where you will find fine tailors

I've bought from them before, and think the quality of the shirts are better than your bog standard £9 items.

And as for your"Not The London Road"..... Here's the info from their web site:-

The shirts are great quality, I have bought some before, highly recommended.

I've bought shirts from them recently. paid between £10 and £15, supposedly reduced from £50. I liked them and they are a decent quality but no way are they '£50 shirts'.

I would expect to pay around £30 for each of the ones I bought if I had bought them from the high street without a sale. £9 is a bargain if you can find any, but I can't see any!

Linked from Quidco!
What a bargain for a fine branded tailor....

well i am off to the officerc club to buy mine - hope they dont twig I am not a real officer :-)

quality shirts ordered again another 3

Probably made from the same supplier as Primark

great shirts!

I've a few of these shirts and they're good quality. I think (looking at the site and catalogue) that they are a slightly cheaper off shoot of Charles Tyrwhitt who do very good shirts.

size guide doesnt work?

I'm 42" chest and large is fine. Just bought some polo shirts recently.

Quality shirts are made in Jermyn Street not Savile Row. Just thought you guys out in the sticks would like to know.

I'm sorry, I've visited this site for... I think three layout changes. Couple of years now and never felt the need to create an account.

An offer on the Savile Row site came up a few months back and I spent around £100.

The quality was dreadful, the order incomplete and not corrected. Cuffs frayed, stiching poor and coming away in places.

The quality of the material on the work shirts I purchased was worse than any school shirt I was forced to wear as a kid.

savilerowco.com/pro…blu

This is one of the shirts I bought, the second picture you can see the material is made up of blue and white stripes, what you do not see is how loose the material is, these stripes have enough give than when tugged on can double in size and you can practically see through.

The collars have already frayed at the points, cuffs are showing heavy wear and I've already bought replacements and only wear these from time to time when nothing else is clean and ironed.

I've gone back to Slaters Menswear in Newcastle and TM Lewin's

The latters shirts have lasted me quite some time, they were bought 2 years ago and still wear okay, not amazing but they've had some heavy use.

Personally I'd rather buy from Primark than these jokers again, or Asda's george...

From talking to Slaters Sales manager, apparently they are not tied to Savile row, and certainly not made anywhere near there. However I can't really back that up very firmly as he'd clearly have a vested interest in not recommending another companies product.

saville row my a** .

may have been at one time, but now just a marketing tool. suggest TK MAX if you want genuine designer gear.

LOL...
Funny how most that have purchased from them think they are good quality......

It's also the "Feel Good Factor"..

Maybe TK MAX are bargain prices, but you'd keep the fact that your clothes come from there a secret...LOL.

Not sure what happened to my lengthy post.

I've purchased from these etailor in the past the quality is very poor.

That you steve? Signed up today just to **** off SR...LOL.

I received my polo shirt today. I find the sizes are larger than normal but the quality is very good and they offer a 90 day no quibble money back guarantee so they must be good!

Thanks for that. Just ordered some cashmere scarves for Christmas presents.:santa:

Not quite. Jermyn St is the primary shopping area for off the peg shirts. And it's anyone's guess where these are actually made.

If you want bespoke, you'll head back to where the tailors reside.

stupid question but does quidco include discount on the £3 delivery?

You can buy good quality shirts with 50% -65% off at www.van-heusen.co.uk
I purchased 3 last week. Well pleased.

I have 3 of these from last time round, they are average not great...my Next city collection shirts are much better quality

I bought 4 of their shirts in 2003 and I wore them every week for years. Really good quality.

The Savile Row Company

some people think these are good quality, in the same way some people think a kebab and chips is the best food you can get....

I dont like products with fake high RRPs , these are not £ 50 tops.
