This is the cheapest I have seen this, the next being £17.99. Now only £6.99 - amibees.

Containing collectable Lobby Cards featuring key scenes from the film; two sobering World War II documentaries "Price for Peace" and "Shooting War"; and a commemorative two disc copy of the film with never before seen footage and exclusive features, the Saving Private Ryan WWII Collection is a must for all war enthusiasts. Presented in stunning commemorative packaging, this boxset is in memory of those 60 years ago.

Seen through the eyes of a squad of American soldiers, the story begins with World War II's historic D-Day invasion, then moves beyond the beach as the men embark on a dangerous special mission. Captain John Miller (Tom Hanks) must take his men behind enemy lines to find Private James Ryan, whose three brothers have been killed in combat. Faced with impossible odds, the men question their orders. Why are eight men risking their lives to save just one? Surrounded by the brutal realities of war, each man searches for his own answer - and the strength to triumph over an uncertain future with honour, decency and courage.

It's also in DTS sound, the DTS Version is around £15 alone and the standard version is around £5, so definitely good value for money.

Best war movie so far!

DTS version is must buy! Even you have DD5.1 version

Does this package contain 3 movies ?
From what I see here: g-ecx.images-amazon.com/ima…jpg I would say yes.

So the version it includes, is the "Saving Private Ryan (Special Edition) (Two Discs)" which is this one: dvd.co.uk/DVD…htm, right ?

I was going to post this deal a couple of months ago but it seems that I forgot...

You're right; that's the 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition. Thus, there are 4 DVDs altogether.

IMDb-links for those documentaries:

The "the 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition" is the one which is in this WWII Collection and I bought it for 5 £.
So this isn't properly a hot deal.

You're not gonna get the DTS version of the film, two documentaries and all those special features on one disc, I'm guessing Amazon have made a mistake. I've ordered mine anyway so I'll let you know what's in it.

OK got this this morning and it is 4 discs, it's the 2 disc version that Quids says would be a better buy and you get two other documentary DVD's with it as well as the lobby cards. Chuffed to bits with it.

Priced decreased to £6.99 now.
