Me too! Was in my basket and then got a basket message.

Not sure it will go much lower than this so bit the bullet. £3.58 a film for BR seems decent.

cracking price

ive got the normal blu ray boxset...is there actually much more added to the films in this version?

Great price for the set. Good spot OP.

Did you get yours for £25?

I had this for Christmas from Amazon market place for £19.99, Watched first 4 so far & really enjoying them

I can normally quite easily watch blood and guts, no problem at all, but a couple of these even made me have to suspend viewing!

Got a few of them on DVD. The problem with this is you'd probably watch them through once over and not bother again for some time.

I prefer the UK artwork...it's one of the only things putting me off this set. Decisions decisions.

I thought Saw 7 was a bit 'Final Destination-ish' but the first ones were very clever, only after watching 2,3,4 does it make the first one actually better as there's that much going on that you miss you have to watch again.

I'd say that about 95% of the film deals posted on here. I couldn't care less about if a film is new, the packaging or God help me - a steelbook!

I don't watch the same film more than once a year and am really not bothered about keeping a collection. However certain films - and if cheap enough like Goodfellas, L.A Confidential, The Usual Suspects, Home Alone, The Goonies and certain TV shows are worth buying because I know I WILL watch it again - sometime.

Saw fits into that category for me. £45 for the UK version & packaging. Big deal. Very rarely watch any of the extras anyway.

Problem is, if other commentators are to believed this has been £20. Will this drop again?

I don't care - £25 is a good price for it.

Bought.

The thing I didn't like was the two detectives could literally have been brothers or dodgy twins!

They looked too bloody alike - which was a bit confusing!

are these discs region free ie..they will play on uk only players?

Ordered, too good to miss

this guys comments worries me a bit about all being in … this guys comments worries me a bit about all being in dutch.http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B009JS18L4/ref=cm_cr_pr_btm_link_next_2?ie=UTF8&pageNumber=2&showViewpoints=0&sortBy=byRankDescendingI would really appreciate it if someone could post pics of this set opened up, disc holder etc. or a video I can't find one on you tube I have for the dvd but not the bluray.Never mind guys found this if anyone is interested.http://www.filmtotaal.nl/artikel.php?id=25564

First dont worry about this guy saying that it all in Dutch... The copyright etc does come up in Dutch but the films themselves play fine in English and the Dutch subtitles can be turned off... If you require English subtitles then you are screwed as there are none.

Also the boxset that you found at filmtotaal.nl is totally different to the one that is being advertised here... The one you get from Amazon is in a single dvd case with flip holders inside.. It doesnt all open up like the one you found on that website.. The main box is totally different as well..

Hope this helps...

Thx for your help now I'm not sure what I'm buying package wise, I'm ok with the audio and don't need the subs but are you saying the box is different to that pictured on amazon?

No the box is different to the one that you pointed out on that dutch site.... The one on that filmtotaal.nl opens up and you can see the 6 blurays... The Amazon one is just a dvd case with flip holders... The case is also different on the filmtotaal site compared to the Amazon one... The box on the Amazon site is the one you will get....

Ok mate thx for the help/info I thought the boxes looked the same oh well, I am a little annoyed about the way the discs are packaged the u.k way would be better but at £25 all unrated i'll put up with it. It sounds like its the same as those X-files dvd (G1) series boxsets only in blu-ray size (G2) or have they kept the G1 size box? which I know they sometimes do it kinda looks off on the shelf.

Yep well I got them today in a thinner style package, W/ just a basic slip cover, it does use the old G1 dvd style flipper case so although the set is slim it does sit a bit taller on the shelf.
Overall I'm happy the packaging in the uk is better but those are not fully uncut also the discs in this set out shine the u.s versions by quite a way especially on the first 3 films, in the u.s they use the mpeg 2 codec while these are the better vc1 codec.

@£3.57 for each film & each uncut with this being the best quality currently available, not just picture but audio as well (dts-hd ma) it's well worth the £25 for the set.

James Wan and Leigh Whannell are currently writing/planning Saw VIII so this set will be incomplete soon!

was to be expected still even if they finish after this one it's hard to imagine the set being released uncut in the u.k and defo not at this price.
In-fact if/when the new film comes out there will prob be 4 versions of the thing the theatrical, the uncut u.k, the uncut u.s, and the unrated uncut ltd edition from somewhere or other.
At least I have 1-7 of the best versions/quality available, I think it's safe to say we will see saw-X at some point.

I just got mine today too.
I got a G1 case that has a single spindle which all the discs go on.
No flippers here. Not quite as handy!
